What do you do with mats that you can use? Just sel them? Have have won some good materials, and it is a shame if I can only sell it for piddly gold.
Progression bug So I was doing the quest where you mount the horse and accompany princess Clara to white reach when my device died midway during the quest. Now, whenever I log back in princess Clara is nowhere to be found and it just says "accompany princess Clara to white reach" can anyone help me out here? Pissed that I probably won't be able to continue the main quest. iPod 5th gen here too btw.
You think they would have thought about the iPhone upgrades and making sure it's all compatible. At least update the damn game right before.
This seems like a back-end issue since the app actually opens and there is just a prompt that makes you close. This means they wouldn't even need to upload an update to the app store they just need to fix something on their servers. Even on the gameloft forums there no mentions of updates or bug fixes or anything like that (no communication at all). Looking at appannie revenue data the game isnt doing very well I wouldn't be surprised if they just move on from the project.
I stuck with this game despite my rather lackluster first impressions, hoping it would get better. However, the number of bugs in this game is pretty breathtaking, especially when combined with the almost non-existent customer support. I've played a number of MMOs on release and I know they are generally buggy, but this game takes it to another level. So far I have a quarter of my quest log filled with quests that simply can't be completed for one reason or another. Some of these quests are parts or ends of chains. I can't even enter dungeons the last few days as it suddenly says I don't meet the requirements. I managed to get onto the queue today once, but then the problem returned. World events are dismal, the lag being so bad you can barely tell what is happening and at times simply die because... reasons. Oh, and I have quest items in my bag that are useless. They can't be destroyed, sold, or moved to my chest. I'm glad I haven't put any money into this game, especially if it is having issues with sales and gets abandoned. It certainly seems abandoned so far.
Im level 28 and have had zero of your quest issues. Ive completed them all so far. The dungeon queue problem is new this weekend and while it sucks for now im sure it will get fixed. And abandoned? Its been out a week and a half. It takes time to fix things. And they have supported to the original for over three years and continue to do so. I have no fear of them abandoning O&C2. Bye bye
Good on you, but these issues do exist for a number of players. You can see people continuously at the same areas trying to complete certain quests that are bugged. I've dropped some of the early quests that I couldn't complete, but I still have ones such as "Farwell, my brother" in which the final diary simply isn't there, or "Allies in Evil" which requires players to interact with NPCs that cannot be interacted with, or "The Lakeside Nightmare" which gets you to pick up a key that then disappears. As for the dungeon bug, I wasn't aware it was a widespread issue. I have tried contacting support several times over the last few days with no response, nor do I see any information on the developers site or facebook. Considering all these issues, you do understand why some people may be a bit taken back with the lack of communication don't you?
Im level 35, with quest items in my inventory i cant get rid of (in 2 slots), even if the quests they were related to were completed, with 2 quests i cant complete coz of bugs (Brother and Allies in Evil). As for dungeon queueing, never had any major issues. The game definitely isnt abandoned, but for the most part customer support is non-existent. Gameloft will fix a few things, and add a few things, later on, but the lack of customer support in the current issues is pretty sad.
I'm level 34 and trying to complete every quest I can find. I have had only one quest I couldn't complete (allies in evil). Which quest is the Brother quest? Not sure if I did that one or not.
I think that's one with Wesker (Wesler? couldnt really remember) where we had to get into a dungeon-esque temple of sorts but he doesnt show up there. Spent hours waiting for him there with lots of other players til i decided to abandon it. I tried everything from killing lots of enemies, abandoning quest and re-taking it, and plainly just waiting.
I'm stuck on a quest for Khan where I have to meet up with his re-election team but when I go to the spot they don't show up? Any ideas?
Is that the one in the 15-25 zone? If so i believe you dont actually meet anyone, there are mobs in the area you kill. That's the re-election team. I could be completely wrong on that though.
I remember that quest, didn't have any issues completing it so I might have gotten lucky. I am sure you have tried it already but if you haven't try canceling the quest and taking it again. Now that we have had a maintenance it might work now. I can confirm that Allies in Evil quest has been fixed in this morning's maintenance. Unlocks a few other quests after it.
I have a new iPad Mini and the game does work but the text and game interface are both extremely small and nearly unreadable. It's really easy to touch the wrong icons.
I heard the maintenance break yesterday addressed some of the questing issues people had. So if you were having trouble give them a try now.
