I just got 2 green background items that i could put up on sale. I tried equipping one and it gave a warning that once i use it, it will be soulbound to me. I equipped it, and then removed it later on. I tried to put both items on sale for auction, and the one i didnt use was good for selling while the bound one wasnt. Im guessing the bounding rules will also apply to trading since auction selling and trading are in the same menu. Seems later on in the game it'll open up, especially with item trading. Not a lot of players have gone past Lv25 yet that it takes hours to get a party of 4 into the 2nd Dungeon.
I agree that the inventory system needs polish. However, i want to point out that in the Lv20 areas and above junk are worth much more. I have sold a few stuff that sold 11 gold each, and the 7-gold-each are not too rare anymore. There are still quite a handful of 1-gold sellables though.
In Old Town East there is an armor seller who sells armor for level 20-24 this is better than anything else I've seen for that level. Old Town East is on the 3rd continent (or when you level past 15) I agree though I went from level 17-22 really quick yesterday. I finally got to rank up my heritage weapon and it does change visually once you get past the first 5 stars. Then it starts getting into all the materials that you should've been keeping in your chest. I was able to level it up to the 3rd star just by the crap in my chest. I like the game so far though!
Yeah, the insta-res does sell runes. I just wish it was better balanced. For instance if you pay a rune to still resurrect in that same spot, but there is a timer before you can do it and each death increases that timer then it would be better balanced. It would still better than spawning at the warpgate, it would still sell runes, and it would make PvP somewhat balanced. Haha, nice. Glad you picked up on the reference for my name! Yeah, I tried signing up as Gilgalad on WoW like 12 years ago and it was already taken so I made up Gilgilad and I have stuck with the name ever since.
Yeah I was going to say that as well. There are some great items to sell for better money once you move on to the 3rd place. I racked up almost 10k after going there in a couple days.
I haven't read through but if you're talking about having to run from the gate to the dungeon, you don't have to. You can press the party symbol at the top of your screen and it will ask if you want to quit team or rejoin, it then warps you back to the start of the dung.
What am j supposed to do with the lucky cross? I have lots of them but not sure what they are for? Also I seem to get items from Nicks treasure that are worth like 1000 gold, I have been selling them, is that the right thing to do? Lastly I have lots of sunflare steel materials but can't do anything with them? How do I use them?
After giving it some time, if had to put it down. As is typical with modern MMO's, the character archetypes are restrictive leaving little room for player style or tactics, with the greatest player skills being understanding how to optimize what limited options are available and/or feeding the games iap conveniences. While the heart of the game is the quest line, the progression feels more like a checklist than an adventure, with most encounters manageable with little or no urgency or tactics or any need to read the specifics. O&C ramps up this feeling, to the point where it feels like I'm merely an observer, navigating to the next objective, but no matter what I do, the choices I make are irrelevant as the experience is all predetermined, like one of those fun house rides where you shoot at stuff with a light guns to make them react. This is not to say this isn't a well crafted game, because it is one the best mobile MMO's available. Unfortunately, as a veteran of Ultimate Online, then Everquest, then WoW, I can say this is a further profession of the trend those hallmark games represent. A devolution of the open, dynamic and customizable experience the early games allowed, to the continuously simplified and ever limiting iterations of WoW that ultimately led to a game that focused more on ease of use and player vanity than providing a challenging and rewarding gameplay experience.
There are lucky cross vendors in large towns (non-camps) although they can be in a few camps as well. As for crafting materials you need to look for where you need the materials in the crafting screen inside the character menu.
I am also totally confused. I got these cool instruction manuals for armor but they are not for my class. And they are bound. Wtf
Made a TA guild for Mariner's Landing if interested. I was on Dawnwatch but it was just way too bloated.
i wish I read this thread before j spent 17 dollars on this game but that was day one. When j realized that at level 24 I don't even have enough vigor to level up twice a day and I hear at 30 not even once it really destroyed my mood for the day and my want to play this game. Now I don't mind spending cash on a game but spending 2 dollars extra a day to play an extra hour is a little crazy. It's not in my budget, if it's in yours and you'd rather spend that on a game that's fine but it's limiting the player base. This game limits me too much to keep going but I'm going to get my 17 dollars worth and give it a chance for at least 30 days but if I can't see a bright side to this game I'm outtie and no more money. I wish I spent that 17 on vain glory #
