hi guys... Just a quick note to say we're rushing the "bat" fix through to the app store. Really sorry for the inconvenience. re: iCloud saves.... I'm I'm not mistaken, you have to manually delete the iCloud saves in your iDevice iCloud settings. Don't quote me on that just yet though. I'll try to test that later. After we get the fix up Thanks again for supporting us!
Good to hear. Hope it gets quick approval! I actually think when it hits I may start the game completely over again. I feel like I rushed through (well, I did) the early chapters since I couldn't fight the bats. And, now, of course, I can't really proceed. Such a good game that I'll be happy to play through it again.
There is an iCloud data entry in my iCloud (like in IB2) so yes, it should work as long as you obviously do not manually delete it. After playing on iPad a fresh install on iPhone immediately detected the save and asked me if I want to continue from there. Actually, I do not know how the devs managed to do this, but among the very few games that correctly support iCloud, this is freaking fast. As soon as Rok is sit on his throne, the game detects iCloud saves: in other games this is a slow process and you have always to wait for the GC login. Here is freaking fast...probably the best iCloud implementation I saw so far.
NOOOOOOOOO, God, just NO. IB2 iCloud system sucks, really, it's one of the most unstable iCloud feature in iOS, you never know when you're gonna lose your lovely data. GoF 2, Batman Arkham City Lockdown and Sonic 4 are way better with iCloud management.
I don't know what anyone else thinks... But this looks AND sounds ####ing wonderful. much more detail seems to have put into these things. I mean I'd usually put it on mute and listen to my own music.... But when playing Orc I didn't feel the need! Anyone else notice this? Also @Dan who seems to be a stellar job of answering everyone. Did they do it all themselves or have an actual team of devs individually sorting different aspects
I would daresay that sounds are even more awesome than the graphic. Reaaly outstanding production values. The slash, the frost, the trembling Troll footsteps .... All is perfect, sounds like a movie. I'm on Act 4 now....really curious about where the story would take Rok.
Good production values and graphics aside, I'm having a really hard time getting sucked into this game. I'm still in Act I (The Guardian) I think but right now it's way too easy -- and hence, boring. My weapons are way overpowered and I'm one-shotting the undead left and right. I know things ramp up in Act 3 (as I read in this thread) but that feels like quite a ways off and I don't know if this game can sustain my interest at this point. Really feels like Diablo 3 in that respect due to auction house weapons breaking game balance.
Some weapons and shields have coloured names and are worth much more gold than their grey-named equivalents, yet they don't seem to have any special benefits. Anyone know what that's all about?
Colored gear is rare and unique.. Typically you're only going to find them randomly in chests and drops or purchase them from the vendor. Most, if not all of the unique gear comes with 'perks' which enhance Rok's base character points.
Perks can be on normal gear as well, and not all coloured gear has perks. Many just have a coloured name and a very expensive buy/sell price compared to an equal-in-every-way normal weapon, so what I'm asking is: are they really equal or do coloured items have other, hidden perks?
Excellent game to fill our time with before Baldur's Gate comes out in September Actually reminds me of a cancelled Warcraft adventure game spinoff. Anybody remembers that one?
