lol, the pocket god heads would swell like the orbs to fill the empty space ...okay how about a mode where there are fixed obstacles on the board, like 2 or 3 small pegs that we must deal with sort of like bumper pool?
Why is this thread still titled "Orbital ($0.99)"? It hasn't been $0.99 for weeks, it costs three times that now.
I didn't know that...I thought it must on sale for an extended period. Hopefully a mod will change it.

Yes, we are! Actually we're very psyched about all the very good ideas the community here @toucharcade presents. Compliments to everyone! The upcoming third mode will include some aspects of the suggested inputs. We're also thinking about creating a poll... So stay tuned for more details!

Only mods have the ability to change the thread title but I took care of it Feel free to PM me if you ever need it changed or info added to the original post. Orbital is one of the few games I feel like I MUST play everyday. I only wish I was better at it...
Here's what I said because there's a lot of pages to look through here: How about a Strafe mode where we can drag the turret left and right? There is a new red button on the bottom left above our high score that says "Shoot". When you tap it, it changes color to neon green and says "Strafe". Now you can drag the turret left and right. When the turret is against a side wall, it disappears out the side until it swings back again as it is still rotating back and forth. When you're ready to fire, you tap the button to change it back to shoot. This simple addition would add so much to the gameplay and would be very easily implemented. It would create new strategies. I, and others suggested an Aimed mode early on, where we point the cannon and leave it where we want to shoot. and I also said this: I think it would be incredible if there were a zoomed in slow motion showing the final losing shot at the end of the game. Showing exactly where the orb hit and it's painful route and descent to the death line in all it's particle goodness. One person complained that this will intrude on their quick continues after a death. It could be an option to turn on or off... All in all, don't get me wrong - This is my favorite game on my iPhone since I got it a year and a half ago. I still play it every day, including the last thing I do before I pass out each night. Bluetooth 2-player mode? Play friends online over the internet - I still feel the 2-player part of this game can be expanded nicely Loving the game!
how about 2 player simultaneous play? Both players can fire orbs simulataneously, instead of turn based. However, there is a timer by each cannon that counts down from 15. A player must shoot before the counter goes down to 0 or loses. Definitely more multiplayer maps too.
Struggled for last few days with terrible scores, then suddenly got 57 in Pure mode, my best yet. This game is still so addictive!
That's amazing! Good job. I'd be happy to be able to increase from 29 to somewhere in the 30's or 40's.
