iPad Orbital +Lite (v1.3.1 Retina)

    Orbital = freakin' awesome game. Super-addicting. This is one game I will NEVER delete off my iPhone. I got it when it was .99 cents but even @ 2.99 it is so worth it. I can't decide whether it is addictively frustrating or frustratingly addictive. My high is only 44 on gravity mode and I am constantly trying to beat it. Thank you developers for such a great game.

    How about introducing a timed mode? Like you have 100 seconds to get as much score as you can...and it wouldn't be too hard to make for the developers either?!

    Orbital get's played on a daily basis!! Probably the one of the best games made, so simple, but the music and colors make it a trip!

    Got this game a few weeks ago and I am HOOKED! I'm terrible at it, but I still find it so addicting. I keep thinking that I'll do better the next game.....

    The fact that it's like, my lazy-mode game where I sit back and use my thumb is a plus. None of my other games are able to be played like that.

    So guys! How should in your opinion look the third mode of Orbital? That's the question we have to answer for the developper. Any ideas?

    not sure, a third mode?, hmmm

    the only thing I can think of is a mode where you are rewarded for multiple hits taking out orbs at one time...a multiplier mode

    or a mode where every round or X rounds the numbers on the orbs increase by 1 so you don't want to leave them on the playing field too long

    How about a mode where you MUST specifically hit a certain orb or you get punished in one form or another...

    oh I know... power up orbs... maybe an orb that if it's hit 3 x in row it will blow everything on the screen... maybe another orb if hit 3 x will give you a special one time shot that can't cross the line... maybe another orb when hit 3 x changes the color of the game... maybe another that gives you an extra life... etc.

    There isn't an entirely new mode that i can think of right now, all i can think of is a timed mode of around 100 seconds. It would be perfect when you just have 2 minutes to play.
    But what i would like to see in the game is statistics. They could have stuff like average score, most orbs ever on screen at a single time,most orbs killed with 1 shot, no. of double shots, triple shots etc.

    yeah, statistics sound great, or maybe achievements, like "make 20 triple/double shots"...

    no need for a light version!! Orbital is amazingly addictive and the graphics are beautiful! It's even cheaper than a frosty from Wendy's!

    I would like to see a setting where when you lost, you could UNDO your fatal shot then continue (indefinitely) in a "Casual Mode" where your high score was NOT recorded but you could just play for fun. (this would be handy for kids / showing game to friends and others who aren't so hard-core).

    Alternately, if too many people think sudden death is too hard, you could be given either a certain # of "Undo's" per game, or per points scored.

    As far as an actual MODE ... I used to think I wanted a gravity-mode game where you could use your finger to draw the precise line for the cannon-shot, but now I'm totally into the plain-old gravity mode. I posted some other suggestions a few pages back.

    More robot voice sayings! Some witty ones would be great if delivered in the robo-monotone!

    Oh yeah, and detailed statistics! Ideas...
    - Personal Top-10 Scores vs. Date/Time achieved
    - Global Ranking based on 10-best-scores instead of single-best
    - Global weekly and monthly leaderboards
