Just got 46 in Pure Mode, that's all time number 2 for the moment. That 60 is going to take some beating though!
With my recent purchase of Modern Warfare: Sandstorm, Real Racing, Alive 4-ever, Inkvaders, Gangstar, etc. I've failed to realize that great things are fairly simple, such as this game. I've been so caught up in the technical aspects of the "latest and greatest" iPhone games that I've been missing out on this amazing game for so long. Out of the recent games I listed earlier, this is one of my most enjoyable ones, hands down.
There's a new hi score in Gravity - 178 by Altuve - but something's fishy. The score does not show up in the top 24 hour scores...
On and off, yes, I can't view the scores either. It will still submit your score next time you can connect, though, so don't worry.
I got this game due to the sale. I honestly did see why people raved about it. Then it sucked a couple of hours out of my evening. Just keep trying and trying. My highon gravity is like 23 and pure is only11.
I picked it up Friday and fell in love with it. It's one of those games that seemed pretty cool, but not great...until about 25 minutes of playing. Now, it's one of my absolute favorites. Beautiful looking, awesome sounding, and incredibly addicting Replay value. As for your score of 10, that's really not a bad score for just starting. I sucked so bad, it took me forever over the weekend to break 10. Actually, before I scored 96 on Gravity, my high score was like 21 or 22...then one hot game and I broke 30...40...50...then all of a sudden I was going for 100 I don't know how fast I can do it again. I believe the high scores for this game. I understand now how to score. You almost have to find your way, but it's almost a strategy how you have to build a curving hallway to a back room with lots of little circles. That way your protected. That's just my method, I'm sure others have many more! Enjoy it!
two-player battles are epic! My friends and I have mini-tournaments everyday at lunch. multiplayer should not be overlooked. Great game!
wow, i got so wrapped up in playing i didnt even notice multiplayer! love this game.....very simple and fun
Alright, we had a lot of ideas in this thread. I have a simple one that I'm not sure has been mentioned... How about a Strafe mode where we can drag the turret left and right? There is a new red button on the bottom left above our high score that says "Shoot". When you tap it, it changes color to neon green and says "Strafe". Now you can drag the turret left and right. When the turret is against a side wall, it disappears out the side until it swings back again. When you're ready to fire, you tap the button to change it back to shoot. This simple addition would add so much to the gameplay and would be very easily implemented. I'm adding this idea to their Facebook page as well. Any opinions?
Couldn't you just tap the turret to switch? It'd save having to alter the game screen layout. Good idea though, I like it. I'd also like a mode where the turret doesn't rotate automatically and it's user-controlled, might have been suggested already.
