Another month of development done, and here's a new gameplay video showing a bunch of new things. There are now more ways to distract enemies (throwing rocks, tennis-balls, etc) and then a couple of interesting ways to take out said enemies: either shoot them in the back, cut/smash/stab them with a melee weapon, or simply grab them and take them down quietly for some extra XP points. There's also a newly made Mission Select screen (creation of this in last weeks vlog:https://www.youtube.com/user/orangepixelmobile) and there are actual missions added. Missions, at this point of development, include: sabotage rocket-launches, hack terminals, and rescue hostages. With a few others planned to be added. Game is very unlikely to make it's March release schedule tho, still some months of development to go!
The March video update is here, with a lot of minor graphics improvements (such as better lighting) and mostly a lot of improvements all over the place. Most of the work was on improving all the areas of the game: better interface screens, better animations and better gameplay in all areas (which is often not visible on videos like this, but it does make a difference if you play the game!) I've also been adding extra pop-up stores, and more items to aid you in your missions. Bunch of additions have been added to the game, and I have about 7 big features left that need to be done before I can start working on release versions. Which means that April/May is currently my target to work towards.. and not unlikely!
Looks better and better! Thank you for all the hard work and love you put into your games! That helicopter on 8:20 (+-1 second) just disappeared in the air. Maybe make an animation where it goes up to the skies or turned around and flies away? Because a disappearing helicopter is strange
uuuuuh good eye! didn't see that.. and not sure what happens there, might just be a video glitch (they fly off to the right normally) going to pay some extra attention to those choppers see if it really vanishes at times!
Is it May already? pff.. alright, so good news and.. uhm.. I guess just good news !? The bulk of the work on this game has been done, and I'm hoping to wrap it all up in the next 2-3 weeks. Now I had a bunch of people ask me "is this still coming to iOS?!" and yes! it is! It's just that I'm releasing it on PC first, and then iOS will follow within a few weeks. The upside of this is that most early/obvious/silly bugs will be removed before it lands on iOS! I did record a little new gameplay video, so there's something new to look at while you wait ! It's been a long journey on this one, but it's been well worth it - at least for me as the creator, but I'm sure it will also be worth it for you as a player
