Pretty much smash bros style, 5minute timer highest gained points wins. My cousins and I used to play that format on smash bros 64 for hours!
I've been content to lurk on these forums and not speak up for AGES, but I had to finally take the leap and create an account so I could post in this thread. Love this game. Brings me back to the good ol' days of Tron Deadly Discs or the likes on my beloved intellivision. With better controls and graphics, and more depth, obviously. But it perfectly captures that retro feel. Very addictive, just enough challenge to be satisfying without being frustrating. I beat the level 40 boss before the update and personally didn't think he needed any nerfing! I've already gotten 4 friends hooked, all it takes is 5mins trying it and they make the leap themselves.
This game is amazing. Hectic, addictive, and unique. I just finished it, and I can't wait for whatever updates the dev has planned down the road!
Late to the party but finally started playing this yesterday, enjoying it so will be buying the doubler.
Very cool game. Bought the power doubler to support the dev Can't wait for improved controls, iPad button position are a bit too low and it's hard to play on iPhone due to the stick... but even with that, it's sitll awesome
Agreed, the control on iPad is low. I didn't play on iPhone so I can't take a comment. But I hope that the control on iPad will be improved.
I think the iPhone controls work perfectly. So far never any wrong input. A relative, floating button would be am option to consider. But I think, the current interface is working really well.
Sorry if it's been asked but how do you get past the cake? It's appeared a few times and when I do nothing it just stays there but when I collect I get punched.
My hand hurts... I can't put it down... Btw is the speed increase working properly? Sometimes I get a slight burst of speed... But I'm not sure if I'm even faster or at the same speed as before...
<facepalm> there's a bug when you get hit I change your physics and make you fly but sometime it doesn't reset and you move at the speed you were hit. Speed boost works, it's 10% so it's not super obvious, but gives you a big advantage in dodging and engaging enemies.
Just ran into a bug with the freezing power. Used it on a treasure troll and then the timer was stuck. I did use the optional power to decrease cool down time of your powers and my freeze is at level 2/3. I'm playing on iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1.3.
