New update: Freeze ability does not recoup after use Anyone else having this same issue after the latest update? The freeze power starts to regenerate but stops 1/4 way through and remains that way for the rest of the game rendering it useless. Dev, please fix! Can't continue playing like this.
I didn't encounter that problem. Try removing and equipping the power to see if that fixes it. I encountered a different glitch just now. I refunded my powers and noticed that the effect of Back Stab was still active even though I didn't have it equipped and, of course, I no longer even owned it. Confirmed on hitting a boss in the back and it taking more damage.
Clever, I've never been able to reproduce the freeze bug problem but I'm redoing the recharge code in an effort to fix it, so it won't be dependent on the animation finishing the recharge, but rather an explicit timestamp. I will fix the the trait refund exploit, you are the first one who has brought that to my attention, congrats I think the coolest exploit that no one ever publicly stated and has since been fixed was that you could pause the game and active arrows and fireballs would disappear after a few seconds and then un-pause and continue playing

Comments on 1.07 Only one has been my go-to game for the last week or so: I like it and it's funny how it's so simple yet efficient at getting you focused on the task of obliterating every enemies. So good job on delivering a really cool app! I admit the previous statements are only here so I can complain afterwards I think the bug was there in a previous version already but in 1.07 it seems there is a problem when having more than 4 passive skills. When you first buy your 5th skill, the icon overlaps with the pause button but the skill works ok. But the session after the app is closed, I noticed there are only 4 skills showing up and that the 5th skill is actually not working. And since the skill icon is not showing up, there is no way to disable and enable the skill again except spending 2000 power to reboot the character skills (which worked for enabling 5+ passive skills, only until the next time the app closes). I tend to spend power on passive skills especially since for the freeze skill you need to spend power for every 3 usages. Is it the case for every active skills? how many usages are available for each active skill on unlocking? does the subsequent cost of buying usages for these skills change or is it the same as unlocking?

Actually, you get infinite use for active skills. They take some time to reload after each use before you can use them again. What you're seeing is actually like "1/3" being "the skill is level 1 out of maximum of 3." Upgrading them further, some decrease reload time, some upgrade how long the effect lasts, etc. It says what the upgrade effect is before you buy the upgrade.
Keep it up I'm very happy you made this game. I play it very regularly. I think it would spice it up at the 8-10 minute mark to have bosses start spawning on endless or perhaps just endless mode with just boss spawns unlocked after last boss is beaten. I love some of the music that has been made for this game, maybe get a few more tracks or allow song selection/iTunes music accessibility? I know you've already stated your opinions on multiplayer which I understand completely. I'm sure different player skins would be cool as well or even skin for the sword, like different colors or designs. But is personally think the next best addition would be a few more mob units for variety and more action skills, passives are great but we like actions more!
What's the chance of those random events? I think in the previous update they very rarely happened. I can only remember encountering the cake and bear once...
On certain levels never the first or last, you have a chance encounter of these, cake being early on, bear later on and flappy bird anytime in between (also in endless mode)
What's the chance? Or maybe you could say an approximate amount if you don't want to say the exact chance? I think I encountered a total of two bears, actually. Really small amount of total encounters, so I'm wondering if it's a very low chance or I'm just unlucky.
