1.03 just hit the App store, so anyone with an iPad or who wants the floating joystick this update is for you! Please leave comments on what you think of the floating joystick (you can disable it in the settings), I was on the fence whether it should be the default controller or not. Change List - floating virtual joystick (disable in settings menu) - Slightly more challenging game - button layout is higher on iPad - Larger joystick and attack button touch boundaries - Dart now upgrades properly Thanks! Hopefully these accolades will open up the game to more people Also Only One beat Candy Crush in South Korea yesterday, lol, wtf is going on over there? http://www.distimo.com/leaderboards/apple-app-store-for-iphone/korea/all-games/free
Love it! Love it! PERFECT! I'm playing on an ipad 4 and the controls are just perfect now. Many thanks. My THUMB in particular sends its thanks to you!! I had a lot of fun pushing enemies of the pedestal now that the controls are so great! Just give me MULTIPLAYER so I can push some of these bums here of their high pedestals!!! An online multiplayer ARENA!!! Winner takes all!!
Thanks for the update! The floating button works perfectly. Even on my iPhone. And wow, MUCH LESS hearts, so it should be practically impossible to throw me from the leaderboards, no? My scores now are way lower.

Co-OP, as others have mentioned along with a MP mode would make this pretty darn sweet.
Not super far into it, but it's fun and the controls work well for me. My only two game play comments would be to make the walk speed faster for the hero. He feels a bit sluggish to me. It would also be interesting to see his sword swing around less while he walks, to me it takes a bit from the actual swing away. It packs less punch if the sword is always moving so much. But that's subjective. Will keep playing, thanks for making the game!
I'm not far either, and I agree that your guy feels a bit sluggish. That being said, I don't think I'd mind the speed if there was a dodge ability you could unlock. I'm really loving the game. Lots of personality and great audio design too.
Thanks Guise, that'll be a fun upgrade to get. I do think it could be fun to do a well timed dodge to get out of the way of some of the lunging attacks or projectiles, or even to get out of harrier situations when you're surrounded by lots of enemies, but the game is definitely a blast without it.
Update Have a new update in review with Apple, should be out by beginning of next week latest Endless mode is coming and all the big bug fixes you've mentioned As for what you guys have mentioned and what I'll be doing: Multiplayer, definitely not something I will be doing this year, it's incredibly hard to do considering the game wasn't built for it Slow character, I've bumped him a slight bit, but may do more, (will have to also speed up enemies too), I still want to encourage players to get the speed upgrade because that's what it's there for. Speed makes a ton of difference, even just a little bit. The slower pace of the character I think also forces you to think better about position and gives you a bit more time to think. It's quite easy for this game to devolve into a franticly fast button masher, but I've been wanting to keep it more cerebral from the start. In the coming months (as long as the game still has some popularity) I'll be adding more enemies, more gags and more abilities. Thanks for all your support, and please keep reporting bugs or any suggestions and opinions. I read everything. E
No offense, but that's a bad idea. Turning a full game into an IAP full unlock takes the game from everyone who got it already because it's no longer the full game. Plus IAP can't even be backed up properly because Apple hasn't made it possible. I have actually seen this happen with paid games. When you turn a full game into not the full game, you steal it from everyone who bought it already. *facepalm* In the case of this free game, it would be taking away the free game from the people who already got it, which would just be mean. Still not right.
I like the idea of increasing the character speed. I noticed my hands hurt a lot playing this particular game and it might be because the speed of the character keeps making me push harder towards each direction to try and make the right movements (because obviously he's pretty slow).
Just to be clear, Ultimate Power the $1.99 IAP that I bill as the full game experience, 2x multiplier, rebuild and unlimited endless mode is permanent, if you loose the game you can restore this purchase (from the settings menu) or buy it again (but it charges you nothing). This IAP I will be using as to unlock new features of the game, it's pretty much what I consider to be the full game unlock and it's how I'm hoping to be paid. People can still play the game for free as long as they want, but at some point you have to draw the line for certain features. Unless of course I go with ads, which I'd rather not. Despite over 100k downloads so far it's not a big money maker and it would be great to work on this game full time, making it even better and not have to look for work again. E
So if we have the Ultimate Power pack, then we'll get the future modes (like endless), while someone didn't buy the pack wouldn't have access to endless?
