Having online score boards is great and all for those who want it in their games, but what really irks me is when games completely forego local high scores in favor of the former. I've got a few of such on my Touch and it just ticks me off. I mean, really? I would think it'd be much easier to include local boards from the get-go. As it is, I'm not connected to the net most of the time. Either I'm not around a wifi network or, most likely, I just don't want to waste my battery charge on something as trivial as that. Forcing people to be online just to list a high score is plain and simply dumb.
