Hi @grits there is definitely no permanent speed boost, i can guarantee you that, there is nothing in the code to do such a thing. i my self play the game, and being the creator i cant even beat the top guys, while sometimes you can get a push from the wall as explained previously, if your car is facing the right direction and you bounce off the wall you will get a minor push from behind as you bounce. but when you talk of permanent, i can tell you its definitely not the case, i try racing with the top guys, and what ive noticed from some of the top guys, and even though it seems like im braking at the right point, and taking the inside line for example, they may seem to brake later, and hence may slide to the outside a bit more. the difference, is they are limiting their braking time, where as i may brake for a the slightest bit longer, and limiting the braking time means their revs are higher already off the turn, meaning they have an advantage in speed moving on the straight, and even when reaching top speed, the straights are very short so speed continues to increase for both at a slight margin, so their speed in comparison to their opponent is all based on the previous brake/turn they have a faster speed coming out of the corner, and then comes the next corner... its all about timing the brake and turn and limiting the brake time to come out of the corner at a higher speed. hope that answers your question

Thanks! That makes sense. It's all about that slight difference in breaking time. I guess I'm thinking I'm at top speed when I'm not since there is no visual indication. Is it possible that taping the wall puts you on a new line that would be impossible otherwise? Or does everyone stick to the same line regardless of collisions? PS It must be cool to see others beat your top times. Are you on the public leaderboard? Oh and for some reason the update won't stick. Maybe I need to uninstall and reinstall.
hey @grits All cars will always follow the same path/waypoints, but obviously with braking/accelerating causing sliding/drifting, the cars will move differently based on that, yeah im on the public leaderboards, i must say some guys are really good. with the update, what do you mean by it wont stick? Hey - This is a fun little game I recently discovered, and definitely is addictive. One general question though...Once a user has unlocked all the cars, is there any purpose to continuing to collect coins? Thanks!
