I don't want to create a slasher team, because it is the most used. My idea is using a defensive team plus a heavy hitter(special damage) from each color to use against different bosses. Not sure if it is viable on the long run. However, I am gonna gove it a try.

Thanks! You gave me a nice idea. I am gonna make a mix of slash units and defensive crew. I think I am gonna have all bases covered for different situations.
Decided to farm some Units today after beating the last Island last night. Got lucky and Zuro & Buggy back to back. Now I need to go farm Arlong to complete my Slasher team till Mihawk Event hits Global. BTW, you should save those Gems and use them for Inventory Space & Stamina refills for future 24hr Events. You can farm every unit in the game besides the 'Legendary Characters' which only include Ace & Shank at the moment. So. Can someone point me to, or sum up the important posts as far as rerolling goes etc? Is there timers/stamina etc in this?
I'm trying to decide which account to run. On one, I have an arlong, I've evolved usopp, zoro, and senji yo 4 stars. I have 32 gems waiting and 100k+ gold. And I'll have a 5 star zoro in the next day. On the other, I have ace (who I like and want...since arlong is easily farmable). But I've spent, no joke, over 100 stamina trying to get a blue penguin. I'm still well short of the mats to get zoro and senji to 4-star. I haven't even finished the game. I'm probably going to quit looking for the penguin. I'll just finish and try farming units until Tuesday. I want account 2. But account 1 clearly wants me more.
Yeah I think Rayleigh is only available from the Gatcha in JP atm. IMO, I'd go w/ the acccount w/ Ace as it will be more beneficial later on if you decide to run a different squad or multiple squads. You shouldn't worry about Fusion Mats as there are dailies which you can farm for them more easily. Also, we have quite some time before the 8th Island is released so you don't have to worry about finishing the current content any time soon. As stated on the Blog, Fortnights will have Buggy, Alvida, Arlong, Kuro then Krieg.
After I finish my Slasher Team, I'll probably be making a Def Team also. It'll probably be: Vivi: Captain, Heal Per Turn Alvida: 1-Turn 80% DMG Reducer Smoker: 3-Turn 50% DMG Reducer Don Krieg: Poison, DMG Per Turn Usoop: 3 Turn Delay Pretty much just stall the game while you let the Poison whittle away at their HP.
At this point, any account with Ace or Shanks is the best to keep as Arlong is farmable along with other slashers.

Yea, that's cool. Based on further studies, My Arlong slasher team will not survive the late game but will be great for starting maps. My dream final team will be the gold (heart) team. Leader: Shank (I have) Usoop (I have) Vivi Chopper Moji/mr 8/dory/dr kureha/cat sea king or mr 2. So excited
We have quite some time till Slasher Teams drop down in usefulness so I'm not really worried. Farming Arlong at the moment for 2 days is really annoying. I know he'll have his Fortnight in like a month where he'll be easier to obtain but he's basically the keypoint to my team. BTW, in regards to a Slasher Team I would omitt Buggy for Usoop in a heartbeat. Buggy's Special pales greatly in comparison to Usoop's as it's way to situational. Lol, leveling isn't that bad in this game. My current game took me less than 1 week to level to 30+. IMO, I'd play the save w/ Ace and save him for later if you ever decide on making a team w/ him. Every character in the Gatcha is farmable ATM with the current Islands available besides Smoke, Vivi, Tashigi and the Chopper Variations. Tashigi & Smoke will be available to farm this upcomming released Island.
