Can't remember what you call it, relative touch or something?(kind of like a floating joystick) Anyway the answer is no your finger doesn't have to cover up all the action anymore. It's not a bad game for being on iOS, still just a poor mans flower though =) syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #4 syntheticvoid, Aug 5, 2012 Awesome, thanks monkey! =oD Filing Cabinet Well-Known Member Aug 20, 2011 997 0 16 #5 Filing Cabinet, Aug 5, 2012 yeah i remember wanting to get this, and seeing the gameplay vids of the controls really put me off. oooooomonkey Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2011 6,307 0 0 Forge World #6 oooooomonkey, Aug 5, 2012 Right I just redownloaded this to check. And there's a sensitivity option which it recommends you set to maximum for the best view of the screen. Theres also a left or right hand option. The flowers now are about 2cm away from your finger (to either the left or right depending on which finger setting you choose) instead of directly underneath like it used to be. IMO its not a bad game but if you have a ps3 just get flower instead, I suppose for 69p though it's worth a look if your interested. banger1103 Well-Known Member Jun 26, 2011 711 0 0 #7 banger1103, Aug 5, 2012 What do you actually do in this game? Is it endless? And file size uncompressed? Thanks AnarKitty Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2010 3,654 0 0 Minneapolis, USA #8 AnarKitty, Aug 5, 2012 I remember a lot of pre-release hype about this game, including from tA itself, and was excited to see it come out based on that. Once play reports came in, a lot of the excitement went away. Can anyone give impressions on whether this is a worthy sale pickup now, and have the early complaints been dealt with in updates? shero89 Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2012 1,020 0 36 #9 shero89, Aug 6, 2012 Is this like flower on psn ? banger1103 Well-Known Member Jun 26, 2011 711 0 0 #10 banger1103, Aug 6, 2012 Last edited: Aug 6, 2012 Bought it just now cause what the hell it's 99 cents. But wow it's 150 mega uncompressed?! Went from 36 to 150 Mb EDIT. Ugh this sucks all I see is my finger. Don't buy until there's a new control scheme or unless you have really small fingers EDIT 2. Actually there is another control scheme. Oops Filing Cabinet Well-Known Member Aug 20, 2011 997 0 16 #11 Filing Cabinet, Aug 6, 2012 wow 150mb? (it's not a huge amount of space but considering the game it is surprising ) How is the alternate control scheme ? banger1103 Well-Known Member Jun 26, 2011 711 0 0 #12 banger1103, Aug 6, 2012 You should check out the main thread for a vid of the dev showing it. Basically you get a box under the leaves where you can control the leaves. So your finger isn't actually on the leaves but rather under it. It acts as a box area where the leaves move according to the area of the box your finger is in. However it's pretty inaccurate for me and I find my finger continuously mocking forward. I suppose you could get used to it but I really don't feel that it's worth the trouble. Already deleted. Might redownload if they offer an endless mode but as of now it's not worth the space Filing Cabinet Well-Known Member Aug 20, 2011 997 0 16 #13 Filing Cabinet, Aug 6, 2012 Thanks.
