There are more codes available. I will PM you all one! Once you've played for awhile please leave me feedback.
I'd very much like one as well, if there are any left, will leave feedback here and review, thanks in advance looks like a fun game and thats coming from someone who doesn't care for tilt controls much
Don't usually like to ask for promo codes unless the developer decides PM'ing is the way to go (really it's supposed to be against the rules to 'ask' for one without the dev soliciting for requests). But since there's been a bunch PM'd, I figured I'd go ahead and ask. I like tilt games when they're implemented right and also like the retro look of this. So if you have a spare code, I'd love to give it a shot. If not, no hard feelings. Thanks!
Thanks for the code! Fun and challenging game. Reminds me a lot of the balancing mini-game in WiiFit. But it's a lot more challenging when your trying to tilt to get four different and often moving boxes. Only thing that annoyed me a little was screen flips during the game. This may be one game where the ability to flip the screen should be disabled.
A lot of people think that when the screen flips it's annoying, but a lot say it's challenging and fun. I mentioned the purpose of the screen flip in a previous post. Not sure what to do.
Thanks! Thanks for the promo, had a chance to sit down with the game a bit last night and it's a fun concept and great for a pick up and play game when you got a few minutes to kill as is with many other iOS games, were you looking to expand on it somehow or just improve the already included game modes? I have a few ideas if new modes is what you were looking for, if that isn't the case then all I can really say is it's very fun, challenging as you get better and last longer and will likely have a permanent place in my casual games folder on my iP4, my only real gripe is that orientation switching issue, actually thought it was a bug at first but I see has already been discussed, it just seems distracting with this game in particular is all, so to some I suppose it would be an "extra challenge". I'll check back in a day or so and see if you were looking for suggestions on more modes etc. or just wanted ideas on improving it as is, got a busy couple nights ahead of me. Cheers and thanks again for the code dorm3nt Edit: I'll leave a review on iTunes as well, when I have the chance.
I will review. Pretty fun and challenging. And unique. Maybe there could be polished and more colourful. OTHERWISE GREAT JOB.
I would love to hear about more modes or improvements that you have! That's the whole purpose of this thread I'm starting to consider removing the orientation flip.
Thanks for the code. I have already played the game and here's my opinion: 1. Even the gameplay is very simple and easy to learn, the game needs tutorial/explanation. Sometimes we need to tilt and hold for 3 seconds but sometimes we can just touch the green bars one by one and sometimes it just flipped out orientation. If you mention it in some sort of help/tutorial/explanation, then it will be understandable and expected. Especially when you want to add modes or challenges. 2. New game modes can be tilt attack, like you have to complete each level within predetermined time ( so that the time always reset to that time) or green attack when you have to get certain levels on certain time in order to advance (just like story mode). 3. You can also implement touch and tilt by collecting something by tapping (like clocks etc) during the game to get extra time rather than automatically recharge on each level. That's my opinion so far. Thanks again.
Interesting ideas. 1. I really don't want to have a tutorial I want the game to be understandable enough that you can just play and get right into the action. If anything there is a little instruction on the iTunes store and screenshots to understand how to play. You might have missed that because it was a promo 2. I like the names. Definitely has given me some inspiration. 3. i really want to keep it as a full tilt game. Interesting touch ideas though Thanks! Was there anything else you didn't like about the game?
Hey again, totally agree with you on keeping it as a tilt only game hence the name heh, I think that adding touch might make it a bit too frantic and tilting as much and as quickly as you have to with your game and having to touch at certain points might cause some device drops (just my opinion). Game modes, I agree that having sets of levels, kinda like a campaign mode where you have to do the levels in a certain amount of time, or even have a "3 star system" for how fast or how accurate (maybe a mix of both?) you were in the level would be awesome, maybe even make it so you need certain amounts of stars or whatever you use for the scoring system to unlock the next levels. I also think the game is self explanatory, but maybe just a tutorial splash screen accessible on the main menu explaining the very basics of the mechanics of the game as opposed to a full blown walk-through type tutorial would be good to put in. On a totally different note what about adding a hardcore mode to the arcade and survivor mode where you have more paddles or whatever you would call them that you have to line up with the lit up areas. So what I'm saying is instead of having one paddle per bar, have 3 different colored fairly close together but far enough apart to add more challenge and have different colors for the lit p areas as well so you have to match the colors with the correct paddle? Actually perhaps you could implement the touch thing Agas mentioned in that mode to change the color of the paddle instead of having 3 at once also that way you would only need to hit the edge of the screen not all over the place, it might get too cluttered the way I thought now that I think about it, hectic and frantic is good but clutter sucks Anyway thats all I got for now, some of it's along the same lines as Agas suggested, hopefully you can put some of these ideas into the game in some form or another to improve on it Btw lovin the music, very retro. dorm3nt
It is nice to use the tilt mechanism but after some play, I would not play this on public because of the erratic movement. A person looked at me and wonder if I am doing some kind of magic. And sometime the tilt tend to make my screen away from me and cause me to stretch my head. Overall a good game but need improvements.
Thx for the promo! I love the game! It's very challenging as you go up levels may need a bit improvement on the movement but overall great game
I was thinking of doing a "3 star system" but I'm soooo sick of it. It's really beginning to be overplayed in the gaming world. Definitely going to put in some levels for the next version I'll probably start out with just a few and see how it goes from there and then just keep on adding to them. I have been thinking about a hardcore version, but I'm hoping to make some really difficult challenges. The hardcore version you were mentioning here was getting me really confused. I think the simpler the better. hahaha. I've heard a lot of interesting stories about this game in public What improvements on the movement would you like to see?
Hahahah, sorry for cunfusing you I just meant adding in some sort of color matching to the hardcore mode I was overtired and started makin no sense near the end I know. Glad u have gotten some feedback and got your gears thinkin a bit again, looking forward to what you come up with for updates and yes simpler the better. Lol at the guy who thought someone was doing magic while playing this game guess they have never had an idevice or anything with gyro/accel dorm3nt
