Hey guys, I need advice from anyone here who is serious enough to give it. Recently I have been worried sick about this little lump inside my cheek. I can only feel it if I touch around for it. I mean, there have always been a bunch of little bumps in my mouth, but I can feel those with my tongue. And plus, this one is bigger and I can't feel it with my tongue. Its gotten me really worried and I'm hoping its not some sort of cancer. Please in all seriousness, if anyone has an idea of whats going on, let me know. I don't want to see a doctor if its not necessary. And come on real racing..
Thank you for your response. I'm very tired, and no I do not ache. Just curious, what will salt water do? I'm more than happy to try it out, just wondering. If anyone really does care, I can PM you more information that might be necessary I just don't want to post it here.
I think there are suppose to be little bumps in your mouth. I have a load of them. And salt water usually helps get rid of bacterial sores.
If it's an infection, like a cold sore, it will clean the infection. And if it's herpes, it's not serious, you just have to live with it forever. Okay, that made it sound worse than it is. If you have a cold sore, you have herpes, it's as simple as that. Most people have it, though.
No I don't think it is a cold sore, maybe the other little bumps.. but this one is different and bigger. And it's more concealed, like in my cheek. This is an answer I got from a friend.. The bump could be cause by a few things. I’m guessing that the bump is low on your cheek, towards the front, near your gum line. Maybe even under your lower lip. If that’s the case you most likely at some point part of your sublingual saliva gland to become detached. It can happen if you bite your lip. Don’t worry it’s nowhere near as serious as it sounds. The gland will continue to produce saliva and since it has no place to go it just form a hard little bump in your mouth. If this is the case you’ll notice that it will eventually get smaller as your body absorbs it. It’s nothing to worry about because your body will absorb it and your mouth will continue to work as normal. If the bump starts to grow to the point that it bothers you, or doesn’t go away, then make an appointment with your doctor... Again, I know a lot of you are more annoyed by this thread than not, but I'm just trying to get all the advice I can before I really REALLY worry about this. I'm sorry if this bothers anyone.
The aliens no longer need a stomach to spawn, all they need is warm, human flesh. *gasp* But seriously, if you're worried, get it checked out by a doctor. Take care of stuff early before you put if off for later, and THEN it gets bad.
Well there is informations you don't know, and that I'd rather not say. I want to thank you guys for all your help, now let's get back to waiting for real racing.
In you neck you said? It my be your thymus or thyroid gland ( I forget which one) but try drinking some saltwater or eating something with some salt on it....Also if you have a Yahoo e-mail go to the Yahoo Answers on Yahoo and ask this question there and see what people say. Try getting some rest....If it's a clod sore, well I have bad news. You have to live with it lol.
I once has an ingrown hair that felt like that all the way inside the cheek, it went away after some minor at-home sink surgery!
lol It is probably nothing to worry about. Just wait for it to go away, but if it gets any bigger, or you have any other symptoms, you should probably get it checked out with a doctor.
Well, knowing that this sort of goes along with Candy's poem, we can try to help but after all we are a video game forum, and you would likely find much better answers on WebMD or something like that where you can disclose all your symptoms. But overall please find a doctor.
LOL, probably not the best place for medical advice. It's probably a sore that isn't developed yet. Give a time and it'll probably break open and hurt a little bit, which is nothing to worry about. Unless it starts changing shape or turns weird colors, there's probably no reason to worry. Anytime you have a bump, mole, etc., that changes form, it's smart to go to the doctor.
