Ok so about a while ago, all tilt functions for my touch got messed up after upgrading to 3.0. Like it wouldn't let me shake to get the 8x bonus for taptap, shake for a random song, STEER on real racing, etc. Yesterday, while I was surfing safari, my touch did the gayest thing and I was like wtf..it just suddenly, very slowly, whited out. Like the pixels all turned white bit by bit until it was completely frozen. Now today, I dropped my ipod from about a 1.5 meter height and it was fine for the next few minutes. But when I tried using it about 2 hours later, I couldn't turn it on. When i try to turn it on, it displays the apple logo like normal, and it seems like it's about to turn on, and then it just goes all black again. I've tried everything including multiple resets, plugging it into itunes, BANGING it against my knee and WALL. Ugh, please help :[. I own a ipod touch 8gb with the current version update.

I noticed an iPod at the Apple Store I go to seems to have a broken accelerometer, I couldn't steer when playing Real Racing either... and I'd be freaked out if all my pixels started slowly turning white I'd probably take it to the Apple Store
Damn... now you got me scared... I just dropped my iPod Touch on my tile floor and now I'm afraid it'll break in two hours!

Mine has been dropped at least 5 times. 2 of them getting out of cards 4 feet off the ground onto asphalt... caseless. Aside from some massive scratches on the casing (and nearly imperceptible nicks that came from who knows where), it works fine. The thing is surpassingly well-built considering most of it is aluminum and glass.
