Very aggrevating bug/glitch In my quest to unlock the fabled "cheats", I set out to beat Mission 9 ("Lair o' Doom") with a rank of Master. Due to general awesomeness and luck, I succeeded in gaining said rank - unfortunately, the game did not save that accomplishment correctly and so I still am ranked 'Average' on that mission. Any suggestions on how to fix that? Now I am pretty pissed, because after 2 days of trying, the result is just lost to some bug. Edit: It seems, that this 'bug' exists with all missions. Could it be possible, that new ranks cannot be achieved while any cheat is active (in my case, the unstoppable mode)? If so, I'd strongly suggest to add a note in the options menu for that.
Just got this and it's hella fun! Combo system adds variety without being too complex (for me!) and I like how instead of just hack and slash timing is involved. Very satisfying doing a clear parry-counter-attack!
Havn't played Demon Blade so can't say. I'm getting the hang of the controls and timing and this is so fun!!!
Hi folks, Just wanted to pop in here and announce that a Lite version of OMG Pirates! was approved moments ago. It should be appearing in an App Store near you soon. For those who haven't checked it out yet, I hope you'll take the free version for a spin!
I recommend killing off his helpers quickly and efficiently, away from the boss so he can't harass you with his chain-hook. After polishing off those guys, your super move might be ready to go (depends on your level), which you should obviously use on the boss. Don't waste it on his lackies. As you've probably noticed by now, your ultimate technique renders you invulnerable for its duration and does tons of damage, so its pretty important to use on this guy. His attacks all have a specific "tell", but he uses them rapidly and doesn't leave himself open very long. The chain-hook is always preceeded by a robotic "har har", and the eye laser his eyes will glow and he makes a distinct "charging up" sound. Hit and run tactics are best, just watch for the tells and be ready to cancel your combo and bounce away to safety.
If you still think this game plays like Zombieville, you should download the new lite version and see. Only the drawing style is the same. I know that many devs beat one idea like a dead horse, but you can expect better from Mika Mobile. (Also, this is a good chance for some of you devs to see, if you haven't already, how the pretty-awesome Gravity Music soundtrack works with the game play.)
I had passed on this because I wasn't sure if I would like it. Just tried the lite version and love it. Buying....now.
Just tried the Lite version, but I find that these games live or die on their bosses. (I hate bosses that are too hard and take ages to get past.) So it's a shame there wasn't a boss battle in the Lite. I don't think I'll be buying it, just in case, though I liked what I played.
OMG is a completely awesome game and well worth the money. The lite probably doesn't do it justice. As much as the game is fun, survival is still the best.
