I thought it was my ipod touch problem when i tried to finish survival mode but it kept crashing, i thought there was going to be some Secret Boss/Level at the end of survival mode. And i never knew you can get Secrets!!!! But really, whats the use of Crazy speed... They are going to move as fast as you too so there is no point in it, and can you disable it if you get 5 master ranks? Thanks in advance.
well i dont know how i beat him... i beat him on the first time by randomly slashing but i got the rank of terribad ninja(my first ever). and i think i may have fluked.
Have the special attack when you get to him. Slash the hell out of him and use that. Then he'll go crazy and soon enough you'll have the special attack thing again. Use it again and keep slashing like crazy. Are you leveled up enough?
this guy/gal knows his/her stuff leveling up is crucial as is using special. thats mainly how i finished. use special attack over and over and over...
I got some iTunes cards for xmas, and finally picked this game up. Definitely a fun game and worth the asking price.
No matter how hard I try I cant get master rank on the last level on normal. I always seem to get hit a couple of times... I've gotten lots of master ranks on hard difficulty and im on level 30 btw.
I have two concerns about the game: - It is nearly impossible to get Master rank on some of the normal/hard mode levels, as getting hit by any boss character (or often, getting hit at all since enemies tend to hit you in packs) means you automatically fail at getting Master rank; now that is a bit too unreasonable don't you think? The boss is at the end of the long level, and one hit from the boss means you have to restart the entire level?? Yes I'm already level 30, and yes I know when to parry and stuff, but players are human, not machines; I think there should be some leniency in that you're allowed to be hit a few times at least, or allow some rare drops of health potions or whatever to save the Master rank score - There is a bug where the controls freeze for approximately two seconds after getting hit, happens around 1/4 of the time you get hit; please fix this as this definitely ruins the Master rank score very often
There is some leinancy. I've found about 10% of your health can be taken away before your in danger of not getting master rank
Yes but bosses do more than 10% health. Most of them do around 1/6 to 1/8, and that's assuming that you've never been hit even once by the normal enemies in the entire stage. On hard mode the gunmen are quite nasty, and getting hit even once by them means you have to restart the entire stage. The bonuses unlocked aren't even that cheap to start with, so I think it should be made significantly easier to obtain them.

It has already been stated that successfully parrying and using your ultimate move gain some of your class back even if you have been hit. As many have already unlocked these "cheat" modes, making it easier only serves those who don't wish to try harder. Mika, I think the toughness is perfect. I was extremely gratified when I unlocked super fast mode as it gives me a reason to use my OCD to perfect each level. I must admit, super fast mode is crazy. One thing though, when I unlocked super fast mode it didn't auto-use that mode, which is fine. But once I checked it the first time now each time I open OMG it has super fast mode checked. As I play that mode for fun and general craziness and not for furthering the game would it be possible to have that box checked at startup only if checked at shutdown? If this is how it's supposed to be, it could be just me.
