Mmk but I still think that wrapping it in a paper towel with flour/etc on it is dangerous. How would you get it out since it's buried under the flour/etc.? Guess you could tape the paper towel wrapper shut at all the openings...
Oh no, we don't have any paper towels! Why is my house so unequipped?! I will have to get rice tomorrow. The nearest supermarket is a co-op which closes at 8 on Sunday and my parents seem oddly calm (putting it next to the heater and be done with it).
Wrap it in a towel and keep it a little away from the heater if you are leaving it for the whole night or else it might get too hot.
No, because I short circuited it by turning it on. I managed to back it up before returning it though.
Oh no, my dad just turned it on. It had a white screen with a massive gash down the screen. I though it was the screen protector peeling off but it wasn't. It's now drying next to the heater (to be turned off at night). I really can't see this ending well. It will take a miracle to bring that iPhone back alive. However, it did have a case on which might have protected it in some way or another (I doubt it ).
The iPhone? I have had it since Christmas (given from my dad when he got a 3GS). My dad had it for about a year (out of warranty).
There's no 24 hour quickie marts in England? What do the hippies do when they get the munchies at 3am? Really, you need the rice. Call friends. Don't you guys eat curry and vindaloo all the time? (Sorry, grew up watching Red Dwarf and Young Ones) One of your neighbors has to have a bag of rice. DAMMIT BOY! GET SOME RICE! (slap) (slap) whew... BTW, get an otterbox.
Nope we don't eat curry and it just so happens that we had the last bit of rice a few days ago. FML. I sorta need to try and sleep (10:00). I'll see how the iPhone is in the morning (not getting my hopes up though). Goodnight
