THE NETHERLANDS #2 ROGER-NL, Feb 27, 2020 Normally I don’t play games like this one, but Om Nom has a special place in my heart because the original game is one of the best physics puzzlers on IOS Evah ha ha. So I’m playing this now, it looks good, controls are fine, see how long it keeps me interested. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #3 macplash, Feb 27, 2020 @ROGER-NL of course it has a special place in our hearts. Original Cut the rope was genre-defining title. It’s a shame it turned out to be free to play crap over the years. There was even a version with subscription model for like $6,99 a month. I might’ve kept a screenshot from the App Store somewhere. Anyway, Om Nom as we know it and love is long gone. These free to play titles are just to milk the cash cow. The franchise is irretrievably ruined. If there’s a premium title released anytime in the future, I’ll be the first one to grab it. But unfortunately for us, that’s never gonna happen. THE NETHERLANDS #4 ROGER-NL, Feb 27, 2020 You know what I think, since it is Cut The Rope’s 10th Birthday this October we will see a brand new Physics game with Om Nom, well I’m heavily hoping for it ha ha. I really liked the Magic one a few years back. L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #5 L.Lawliet, Feb 28, 2020 Om Nom games were my favorite, with Magic being my favorite - felt like that was the height of the series. This kind of gets me excited that the series isn't done but how it's all freemium / subscription based apps nowadays is just sad. Especially subscription apps are the worst trend to catch on since freemium games became a thing. Certain apps make sense but it's gone overboard now. Maybe one day we'll get another premium Om Nom game.. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Do you already have an account?
