1. Why would you have to un-jailbreak to get the game? 2. The PSP has buttons and it's version has slightly better graphical effects, but the iPhone/iPods have higher resolution, higher quality screens, touch panel with no inconvenient stick needed, and no disks, so the game is faster (eg less waiting to acces the in-game PDA.)
the buttons don't make the minigames better... That's the place where the iDevices and DS win, I guess (only played the iDevice version)
Guys I don't think the psp missions are included. I have completed the story mode and they have not shown up.
You shouldn't complain about no PSP missions, 10 dollars for the whole DS experience(well, almost, since DS controls are slightly better) is not much. I'm wondering about something, wouldn't it be great if the game would be fully 3D, like this: http://ds.ign.com/dor/objects/14266989/grand-theft-auto-chinatown-wars/images/rockstar-leeds-talks-gta-ds-20090225020040090.html It would be awesome if the game would look like this .
i know right. Ive clocked 21 hours so far and im only 13% through the game LOL but there is so much to do. I really love this game and look forward to more games of this caliber being released.
I don't think anyone has completed "everything" in the game yet. More likely they have just completed the main story missions.
I haven't messed with it, but in either the TA review or the appgamer review I read that it does, (or should) set the camera higher so you see more road. I even remember the reviewer complaining how that takes away the detail of the city. Don't know if any of that helps.
How many times are people going to say they wish a fully 3D game (a few icons and characters aside) was fully 3D? Do these people not know enough words to accurately express what they really mean?
You honestly expect people to know that 3d is height, width, and depth? Come on man, not everyone's made it through elementary school...god!
Are you sure about that? I thought a lot of the reviews, including the IGN one, said they were in the game. And that was another reason why they were praising the price point so much. From the IGN review: "And on top of the main story, there is a plethora of side jobs and races, including the extra content that was included with the PSP port."
On another note, is anyone else having install issues with this? I have a 2G iPod Touch and did not get any messages about space issues. But it keeps loading, then installing and about 3/4 through the "install" process it gives me a message about not being able to connect to the iTunes store to complete it. It's done this about 4 times so far. I downloaded it to my PC iTunes as well, but it doesn't look like it's going to let me delete what's already been installed on my iPod touch. I actually thought the "loading" process was really the part where it downloaded the game. And when it got to installing it, it shouldn't need to connect to iTunes anymore for downloading. Any thoughts? Anyone else with this problem?
hey guys. im not allowed to get GTA but is there an adventure game on the iphone that is a really good adventure game? im really looking for a decent one. thanks
I'm not allowed to tell you My mom, said I could only play GTA, and not discuss any of the "evil" games on the app store.
There's been some good impressions of the Avatar game. I have it, but haven't played through it all (time constraints and, now, GTA will probably push it to the curb). So far it seems pretty good.
