Another thing I noticed that's different between the DS and iPod: there's no character shadows or car shadows under each of them, and there is in the DS.
They all have different prices. I think the cheapest one is 5k BTW guys, do the paramedic sidemissions. Those are a lot of fun and increase your stamina permanently.
I just don't understand how they couldn't include like 50 or so half second sound clips for voices, and why they took out silly stuff like the shadows. Not that those minor things make it unenjoyable, but it would've been nice to have all of it =P
there is nothing inferior about this game amigo, in fact it's far superior than anything on the AppStore so far!
I believe 5000, but I just haven't started buying yet, will do shortly! I think I found a little "bug"? Some drug deals are limited for example a guy wants to buy grass to sunday, so let it be Sunday 2200, therefore I would only have 2 hours left to buy grass in case I have nothing in my safehouse, and drive to the guy, that could be very difficult because of the 2 "hours" playtime. If I would have an traffic accident or cops etc etc, I could miss the deal! But if I take a) a taxi to grass main sellers area b) a taxi to special deal guy buyer During the taxi ride the clock is not counted!! Only when I left the taxi and footwalk to the dealers. So let it be 2250 after the 2 deals are completed! So there isn't any challenge in the game, when the game tries to challenge you with a deadline time and allows free choice of vehicle (not limited for example to a special mission vehicle). I would consider that as an bug, because with the taxis the challenge to complete several tasks in 2 in-game "Hours" (I think one minute in-game time counts down real-time in 1 second) is just a joke then.
I've got a few questions: 1) Where and at what stage in the game can I start completing side missions such as drug dealing? 2) Is there a main menu page for this game? 'Cos at the moment, I can't exit out of the game and back to the main menu, and the only way that I can exit is by pressing the home button.
The pedestrian chatter I don't understand since I don't think the size would be a huge issue. Maybe they didn't want to spend the extra CPU cycles on playing the sounds and more importantly whatever algorithm they use to determine when, where, and which sound to play. For the shadows, the shadows under trees for the iPhone version have also taken a hit. The shadows I can understand since they are probably implemented as textures and maybe they hit a limit on the multi-texturing abilities of the 1st and 2nd gen iPhones, plus they would also eat into VRAM of which only up to 24MB is available taken from system memory.
Exit app by pressing home button is usual for all iDevice apps include games. It's the default control for quiting a app. You can save when not in a mission. 1)on top left red icon to access PDF menu 2)Save House You can turn on auto-save in PDF Settings menu so that when you pass a mission it will auto save progress for you.
1st- at about 6% completion. 2nd- not quite sure myself. I think if you click load game it might take you to the main menu. I'd just check the option menu by save and load. That's all I can think of though.
How do you search dumpsters? I always walk up to dumpsters and can't do anything, are the searchable ones a specific colour?
