You can also trigger side missions, do drug deals, play scratch offs, and other stuff while free roaming. Basically if you are not specifically on a mission you are free roaming. The switchingbetween 'modes' is seamless ;-) This may be the game that reaches 1,000 posts faster than any other on TA!
Well I think I read earlier that you can't save mid-mission, and like someone else said make sure your auto-save is on. I haven't had any problems so far.
Life saver Thank you so much for that info, it makes it bearable to have to start over. Now I just need to figure out why the auto save is not working for me.
You've been already told, Derochea. But again. Inside the game. Choose your PDA. You can save manually there, everytime you want. For this, you have to press the save button with your finger. You can also enable auto-save. It is maybe disabled when you first start the game. On my PDA, it was enabled.
I live in Denmark, and usually buy from this guy: http://myworld.ebay.com/urphotos4less He charges $5 for the service, but I always get the codes very fast. Don't mind that the description says delivery by mail, that's because of ebay policies, you'll get the code by email. There are lots of sellers on ebay, but beware of cheaters - the one listed above is legit and I've puchased from him many times.
For those who played Chinatown Wars on the DS or PSP...I'm curious to know how much pedestrian banter was in the game. The game is about as good as I hoped it would be on a touchscreen device, but the pedestrian voices are missed. I've always thought they were an integral part of the GTA experience.
I can't believe anyone's even trying to compare this to GTAIV. I think most of us already know without being told that there are some enormous differences between the two. For what it's worth, I thought GTAIV was a letdown after the previous three games. Chinatown Wars however, is not.
Why everyone is asking where to find guns or anything? Nobody is going to pay you for playing it and finding all "secrets", so stop asking stupid questions and try find whatever you looking for by yourself! Where's the fun of playing GTA if you don't search for yourself?
