Once you complete the game, you'll get emailed by some random person caled "A friend". He tells you to find the two priceless statues of lions or something hidden in the city. They'll be at those swirley things. Only problem is that there's like 50 swirley things and only 2 statues. When you find them, you unlock a couple more missions. I played so much on the DS, marked all of them I saw with flags, and never found a statue =[
If only the other TA'ers knew the pain we experienced trying to locate the statues.. Boy, are they in for a rude awakening.
Yup. I'm just gonna go on their website to find all the possible locations. In 28 hours of playtime, not a single damned statue found >=[
Loving this game, best $10 ever spent in the app store. Quick note to all; due to this being practically an exact port of the DS version (+graphical upgrades) IGN has a great guide. This will help with any missions you're having trouble with, all secrets, and general tips. Peace. http://guides.ign.com/guides/14266989/
I find it very entertaining to nudge cops and then when they chase me, make them fly into the water. It's so satisfying .
Is there anyway to upgrade my 3gs to the new firmware without hooking it up to a computer as im currently on the road and have access to wifi but no physical computer itunes connection for a few more weeks. any assistance would be appreciated
Its a big truck marked by an arrow! Pack your armored vest and some heavy guns, it's not going to be easy!
Sorry unlike the latest Nokia phones which let's you upgrade OTA , the iphone/itouch offers no alternative.
is it the same as the PSP version or the DS? you know,PSP has additional mission??? sorry for a damn question
thank you. i have not messed around with gta since the first one.. then i had to grow up and just getting back into games cause of the iphone/pod thing.. makes us adults gamers again. hah chris.
Having played all 3, playing the iphone version for like 20mins few things I noticed. Characters are still cel-shaded, but the rest of the game lacks cel-shading (DS version). At night, the cars don't turn on their headlights (DS and PSP version). Graphically it looks great on the iphone, it just lacks that visual flair that made the DS and PSP look great. Its a solid port, the controls feels good. I was pleasantly surprised that there was voices for the intro video into the game.
