NOOO!!! Well atleast there's no school today, so i'll have enough time to re-jailbreak, tired of exams and projects >_>..
wow, CW made me sick if i play it long enough. and the L/R vehicle controls need sum getting use too But the scope of the game is just pure win
Wait, you've got a post right now up on your site that says "Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is not a direct port from the DS and PSP version, but seems to lie somewhere between the two." Are you just trying to confirm what you've already posted but apparently had done no research on?
I have to ask this question. On the screenshots, the grenade and weapon icons look like they would be right in the way of the right analog stick. Shouldnt the icons be somewhere near the top of the screen? It just seems like that would be alot more conveinent. From what I can see, when shooting, you wont actually be able to see your weapon and ammo. Someone tell me Im wrong?
Has anyone been able to successfully hail a cab in game? The tutorial mentions tapping on the top of the screen to hail a cab but I've been completely unable to get it to work.
Quick question, is it possible to pay with what's left on iTunes and PayPal? I only have $6 left on iTunes :/
Apparently the screenshots on iTunes are an older build: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=801683&postcount=536 I dunno if that actually answers your question, but it shows there may be changes.
Asking if it's a port of the DS game is NOT a stupid question, technically speaking. The content seems to be the same, but the UI and graphics appear to be more like the PSP version. Only Rockstar knows for sure, but judging by graphics and file size, I'd say it's closer to a PSP port.
As MidianGTX pointed out, the App Store screenshots are from alpha release or something like that. In the final version the button layout has been changed. Not sure about grenades, but atleast molotov's cocktails are thrown by touching the character and then draging your finger to the direction you want to throw it (the further you drag, the further he will throw the molotov). And I'll just repost these images, so that people will see how the graphics really are. From App Store (some kind of pre-release): From game (v1.0):
The health pick-ups don't work. When I run over them nothing happens, no health boost and they don't disappear. Do they only work during missions?
Maybe you can only pick them up when you have lost some health? The health indicator is the left side (green) of the minimap, and the right side is armor (blue).
If this game is a direct port, then it WILL have all the weapons right? I do recall there being quite a few in the ds version, it'd be great if all of em were in this game.
