This is the third version of this I have purchased and I think it is the best version. So for me, yes it is worth the $10.
Yeh but there isn't any ped sounds and the resolution is all shitty. The iPhone 4 has a higher resolution than what the game was made on the 3GS and more memory and the iPad chip etc etc. So wondering if they plan to bring this HD version to iPhone 4
Wish I'd never bought this game for the iPad. The frame-rate is horrifically inconsistent, especially when police are involved, and the driving controls are awful. You can either have arrows for steering (which look silly and doesn't feel right), or overly sensitive analog controls. I'll stick to the PSP version. It's by far the best.
From the screen shots the arrow controls for driving remind me of Car Jack Streets (and I actually liked the driving in CJS).
Yeah the framerate isn't bad at all, minor dips but it's all very insignificant. Restart your device if you think the framerate is horrible, it isn't, may have not reset your device in awhile. Overall this is much better than the psp version, except for the controls that need to get used to.
I completely agree - The only issue I have is the disparity in pricing. I can't believe that I paid over 40 bucks for this on DS. Not that it wasn't worth it, but seeing an optimized version come out cheaper puts things into perspective.
How does everyone find the control setup? Two buttons , right and left ? Leave one wanting more , no ? Edit to add ... Never mind , I just saw the video on the previous page
