You can always try the suggestion from earlier about the ipa. Oh, if you're looking to buy a 3g iPod Touch, don't, because there's going to be a new iPod Touch coming out this year (there's a rumour about the iPhone 4G that it will have a dual-core processor with a OLED screen, etc.)
Eww, 3.12. I thought there might be a game out there that will convince me to upgrade to 3.0, but if this doesn't do it, nothing will. But I may have to think about it some more......A lot more.

That's true. Do you know what the 1st gen touch's processor is? And second gen's processor? Because this is the first game that isn't avail. on the 1st gen touch (actually, after duke nukem.) And when I try buying it on my iPod Touch it says I need a microphone.
There is a "trade info" button in the options that doesn't do anything, but aside from that I'm not sure where the WiFi multiplayer would be.
