it's only me, or GTA:CW is snappier after last update? it was "ok" on iPhone 2G before, but I prefered taxi to driving long distances and badger interface was slow... now it is smooth and iPhone is not overheating like before (which probably means some optimization) good work Rockstar
Anyone here have a nintendo ds and chose the iPod version over the ds version? I'm trying to decide what to do, the controls are holding me back from the iPod version, any advice would be great
Graphically iPod is waaaaay better as I'm sure you're aware. This helps me get into the game, with DS, I'd feel like I was just playing a cartoony game. Control wise, the iPod seems very natural to me. Both devices have touch screen so have similar features but iPod is concentrated on only one screen, whereas DS may get complex swithching between. iPod controls are not cramped at all so no worries there. I'd say definitely iPod. (ad save yourself a few quid too)
the DS and PSP versions have some synchronization with a lot of stats and maybe mini games, if i remember correctly, with the official website if you sign up for it. I don't know if you get any of that stuff with the ipod/iphone version
Is anyone else having trouble downloading the update? It keeps stopping at half way and ive been trying to download it since last night.
The graphics of the iPhone version are way better than the DS version. There aren't any problems with the controls in the iPhone version either.
Same here, but town seems to be more empty to me. Did they reduce amount of objects (people and cars) for better performance?
