Since they read reviews, we can ask for pedestrian voices to get added. Everyone go put it in their review!
But that'd increase the size of the game and it's pretty big as is. I do miss hearing that one guy scream "I'm still a virgin" but if it keeps the MB size low- I say they can keep the voices.
33 hours.... im a huge gta fan lol and 28 hours for the story, although i only did like 2-3 missions a day and in between them i did a bunch of the side missions. (it tells you how many hours it took to complete the story once you beat it btw) hopefully the noodle run glitch where it would crash after you get gold. And also the glitch (for me atleast) when i try to find the security cameras under the GPS. every few times I would check to see if i knocked down a certain security camera on the GPS, it would crash.
@Roofy, I completed two missions for xin. Is there more? Because I wasn't getting a red pop up after the second
wooohoooo. you rock rockstar. i was so surprised to see a update as i open up the store. glad they read the reviews, but i guess we should not be surprised. gamloft wake up.. follow.. chris/
Does anyone know what the blue sparkles are all over the islands? I've searched forums all over but can't find any mention of them. -.-
That sucks! I completed both really easily. Didn't have to redo at all. Do you know how I can feed fishes? I saw that in the stats.
That question has been answered atleast 10 times in this thread. When you beat the game, only 2 of the 21 "blue sparkles" will have golden lion statues. Find both to unlock bonus missions.
Saw this update earlier and I got all excited because maybe Battle for Wesnoth finally got updated. Needless to say, it was at least a pleasant disappointment, unlike when Stanza updated itself a couple of days ago. I'm still confused about GTA playing music form my library instead of the GTA playlist, but at least I don't have to update the GTA one everytime I sync now.
Is the GTA playlist randomized now for you guys? I played a little and it still starts with the 1st song in my playlist
One thing I noticed on my 3G S though: You could take even a 3G S into stuttering because of causing lots of fire, i.e. setting a whole street with cars and people in fire, lot's of smoke also. This seems to be a bit addressed now, I have much better framerate with lots of fire+smoke!!
Have you tried it several times? I mean, if it IS random, then there's always the possibility of the first song being first. Just a wierd coincidence.
Well the cynic in me would say at the very least it shows that Rockstar recognizes where the money is coming from and supports it accordingly. Chinatown Wars seems to be the the top 10 grossing of all apps, not just games, since release, so I don't doubt it's a huge money maker for them. At the very least the perception on the iPhone release seems to be a lot better than the DS and PSP releases which were critically acclaimed but seemed to be panned by customers. I'm hoping Rockstar will make an announcement when the iPhone version surpasses the combined sales or combined revenues of the DS and PSP versions, which seems quite possible given the momentum and would definitely be a major event for iPhone gaming. And I do think that Rockstar is a great publisher too. Although maybe I'm still basking in the euphoria of them announcing Episodes of Liberty City for PC. Further performance tweaks to the GTA IV PC would still be appreciated. On another note, I haven't been checking this thread lately, but now that many people have completed the game, can they confirm whether the extra missions that were supposed to be PSP exclusive involving Melanie Mallard are included in the iPhone version?
You didn't get the update Sometimes that happens with updates. You think you're getting the update but the server you connected to didn't get the updated game file yet. So you redownloaded 1.0.
