After finishing the first mission (getting to the apartment) I went ahead and checked status on my PDA. It said that I'd completed .87% of the game. For anybody who had any doubts, this is the real console experience. Awesome. By the way, someone wrote earlier complaining that "I can play Nova on my 1st gen, why can't I play this." Once you start driving through the city with no loading times and with a ridiculous number of cars, pedestrians, subway trains, etc. in motion, you know why.
Lol. That was good and and to be honest i'm not one to complain. Anyways regarding your comment that's a WHOLE different story. The 1st gen isn't like decade old or anything. It's actually pretty recent. So please don't start being a smart ass. I'm sure many people are upset over this. There's not much difference with 1st and 2nd gen touches except for the mic which isn't a big deal. So please, don't be a smart ass Hoddap. I have a lot of respect For you.
quasim, I feel for you, but there's a significant difference between 1st and 2nd gen. However, it's possible that Rockstar didn't have access to a 1st gen and they couldn't vouch for the experience. If that's the case (and they can make confirm that the game runs well), they may announce 1st gen support soon.
For this, I'd pay whatever they asked for. The joys of having a job so that money is not a concern. Speaking of job, I think I will call out sick tomorrow. I have a feeling it's going to be a late night!
Just bought it. Waiting for it to install. I've been wanting to play this since it was announced for the DS.
