Is it possible to shoot the police copter down? I think you get a rocket launcher at some point in this game. The cops are really a big annoyance (in a positive sense), i noticed that if you´ve got around 4 or 5 stars the stars won´t go away if you hide somewhere.

Also a small bug report again: Sometimes i´m not getting the option to retry the mission after i failed at the first try. Rest assured 1.1 will be much smoother, if they manage to iron those minor annoyances out.

There are a few parts in the game so far where I've wondered "who the hell thought that would be fun?"

But on the whole it's a decent game, not great though.

i didn't think scratchers would be fun, but then I spent an hour doing them. Pays to be rich in the game :)

I'm thinking more of some of the missions, Driving a car that veers off the road with a time limit and stuff like that, I almost threw my Iphone against the wall.

RyoHazuki, you may want to use the edit button if you want to add to an earlier comment (rather than enter a brand new post). Most people will not go back a page to find out what the heck you're talking about.

Getting frustrated at timed missions in GTA (in all of its incarnations) is par for the course. It might help to practice driving around and get to know the layout of the city before trying some of the more challenging driving missions. For what it's worth, I've found GTA:CW to be the least frustrating of the all the GTAs I've played -- but that could be just me.

    Button layout...

Does anybody else wish there were an option to put the brake to the left of the accelerator, with attack above it?

I'm forcing myself to use the default scheme as I need to be able to reach break and attack quickly from gas, but I still really wiff it sometimes on quick 3-point turns. Especially with cops around on foot - usually in that case I do better if I hop out of the car and shoot those guys first...

It's nothing to do with lack of ability to play the game, I did the mission first time, it's just their idea of fun and my idea of fun differ a lot at times, I like games where you have to do a part multiple times before completing it, I don't like boring and frustating missions.

I didn't find any of the previous GTAs frustrating and I've been played every single one since the first top down one on the PS1.

What I like about GTA:CW is that the missions are shorter, which works well with a game in a portable platform. I found both Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories to be incredibly frustrating because some of the missions were ridiculously long, and missing only a single turn could make it impossible for you to finish.

Of course, it's all a matter of perspective, and your experience is as valid as mine.

BTW, I apologize if my post came across like a put-down of your ability to play the GTA. Wasn't my intent at all.

If we are going to be semantic what I said was correct, I played the first GTA on the PS1.

I also played the first Sensible Soccer on the Sega megadrive/Genises even though it came out on the Amiga previously. :D

You must be a barrel of laughs out on the p1ss.
