Is there a targeted release date? I'm anxious to get my hands on this as well, but don't know how to go about creating a NZ account. :-/
Yeah, they are back up now. I think they were tweaking something. Because I had stable internet connection, so I know it wasn't that.
The daily missions have stopped showing up for me Also I think the possible rewards for a level are bugged. I never get the possible rewards listed for that level.

Ok, not sure if this is significant or not. On the tower where you can win Wonder Woman I pulled a different character. It was on Legendary. I got Chemo (eye roll). So it appears you can pull characters off towers but I don't know if it is only on character specific towers or anywhere.
I think the Legendary Characters have a gold border from what I've seen in PvP. Wish I landed one. What I meant in my post is that I did the character tower on the legendary difficulty and was awarded a character this time. Has happened twice now.

I haven't had any connection issues recently. Daily bonus missions are working, but when I beat the Joker and Hawkgirl towers on Legendary I did not get any characters now. Not sure if this is because something changed again or if it is because I did not beat them on my first try. Harley Quinn is a game changer though. Her stun ability makes certain battles much more manageable but the trade-off is it goes even slower.
Nice ! 4 star lex luthor's ultimate skill can also stun the entire enemy team. I'm trying to level him up.
Not sure how you are getting anyone to 4 star. I am having hell trying to pull the right resources. All of my physical characters are 3 star but after being over 60% done in the game I just now pulled the right crystal to get Green Lantern to 3 stars. Really driving me nuts. Even buying items isn't netting much.
Have you tried playing the bonus missions (the ones that show up for an hour every three hours)? The final battle of these bonus missions might land you an epic element (as always two star and three star difficulties have a higher chance of landing epic elements). I got one epic element after around 10-12 tries. So I suggest save up your energy for those bonus missions.
I did finally get a rare drop from the bonus mission. The drop rates on those have been really bad for me and for the energy requirement it's been a horrible trade off. I finally got Zatanna and Green Lantern up to 3 stars. What's been really odd, and maybe it's just my luck, but I have tons of level ups for Physical (Red) characters. All of them are at 3 stars and all I need is one epic recipe to get someone to 4 stars. In the meantime I have until recently just now received what I needed for Energy or Mystic characters and I had to leave two of them at 2 star because I simply don't have the resources. Having a team of 3 Physical and 1 Mystical is kind of bad because if you are facing 4 enemies that are strong against mystical they will tend to target that 1 character. I had to put Lex back into the mix because I really needed 2 healers.
I agree that the drop rates of these materials is pretty low. I don't even know how to level up my characters to 5 stars # I don't know if the ranking up requirements for 2 star strength characters vs 2 star mystical and agility? (green) based characters is intended to be like that or a bug. I was able to rank up huntress and lex Luther to 3 stars fine.. But I had a hard time getting green lantern and Zatanna up to 3 stars. I do like having two healers in my party. It makes it easier to take on some of the tougher battles ( I have also leveled up the additional healing per turn effects of stacked deck for Zatanna)
