It's not out in the Philippines as well (where Shooting Star is already out) so I'm gonna go with "Soft Launch".

So its kinda like a DC version of summoners war? If so, that would be amazing.

    Out in Singapore.

U can just spend 6 bucks for a chance of a legendary character.

If not u can grind 1000 times for 1000 coins for the same chance for a legendary character.

Gd job. I shall give this a pass. Have fun.

Yeah, I'm not sure about getting invested. I'll give it a day or two and see how things go. There are all sorts of daily quests that give currency so I don't think unlocking good character will be a big deal, but if this is just a game about collecting so you can brag and the gameplay isn't fun or interesting, then no thanks.

Looks like a ftp Pokemon-like with DC characters instead of monsters. Can't really tell how strategy plays in or not, but looks like it will prob be very grindy

As long as I can easily acquire deathstroke, I don't care.

I mean there's no movement, you just select an attack and a target. Could be much worse in terms of gameplay though, and it's hard to compare it with future fight cus they're totally different game genres really

I'd put it right about on par with Costume Quest actually - no items, just attacks and some cooldowns. But without the charm and diversity in heroes and enemies so far.

It doesn't really require strategy to win. Just spam attacks and you'll do fine. The fact that there's an autoplay button is all you need to know - what you do in the game doesn't matter and your skill isn't required for victory.

The font is tiny and the skills/ability tree stuff is convoluted. I don't know what half the currencies I have do and it isn't clear how character progression works. Am I leveling up my character with XP gained in battle or some other resource? Hard to tell. This is certainly NOT a polished game by any stretch - as usual from DC, a quick cash-in without a lot of thought put into the long term.

This game is available in the New Zeland store and it's nothing like the pictures. The game is a "Final Fantasy" type game without the ability to walk around. The gameplay is repetitive as you just press one of three attacks for each character and move on to the next battle. The graphics are terrible and not anything like the pictures, the whole shading of the game is so dark you can barley even see the faces of the heroes. 1 star without a doubt.

No, that's pretty accurate. Getting a little more into it I see that the gameplay is very repetitive, and you could just spam the same button over and over to win. It doesn't matter what character you have, as you can just spam attack and you'll always win, eventually. Even when going against bosses and difficult encounters I'm destroying 4/5 enemies in a single attack, then just pounding the boss until victory. The presence of an auto-play button is really all you need to know about the gameplay - if the computer can win for you without your input, then the input you do really is just auotpilot spamming of buttons. There isn't actually strategy involved. I'm going to edit my earlier posts to reflect this. And yeah, the animation isn't that pretty. Those "screenshots" aren't screenshots of actual gameplay. And faces are pretty dark.

This is a bad game. It preys on a desire to collect and upgrade "your favorite characters" while making you think that's a requirement for victory, but really, they're just setting up a very nice carnival ride that you float through. You're not accomplishing anything and you're not special - the game just makes you think you are. So, typical to the collectible hero RPG genre. Don't be fooled.

You just started the game. Early game is always gimmicky in f2p titles. Games that have auto play don't let you storm through in end game unless you're gear is set.

Collection is basically how all these games work. Collect the strongest character-upgrade-pvp-repeat.

Edit: made a NZ account for this, and I'm enjoying it. Just waiting to get DS....

Gameplay looks like a lot of fun. I love turn based RPGs, however I wish the characters would gain xp by fighting and not by upgrading them using crystals.
