Ok placed 4 bids on: Fallout 3 Batman: Arkham Asylum Borderlands Call of Duty: Modern Warfare I kinda hope I lose a couple of these, though. While the price of all of these combined plus shipping barely tops $60 (which I personally have on my card), I don't see my parents being all too happy about me getting four games at once.
I got Skate dirt cheap at Gamestop, try finding that or Skate 2 on eBay. (Or wait for Skate 3 to come out and appear on eBay lol)
on ebay make the settings on the right side set for (ending soonest) sometimes you can grab a game really cheap at the end of its auction
What he said. Also COD 4 (Modern Warfare) if you don't already have it. Online play is like french fries covered in heroin sauce. You can find a copy on Craigslist or eBay for like $20.

One thing about COD. The online is going to be fair empty in like 2 weeks. You won't get much out of it.
not true, still lots of people playing COD2, COD3, Gears1, just for example. there's what 12 million xbox live subscribers lol, there not all going to be on codmwf2
I can't stand the cell shaded graphics in Borderlands. Although it does look super fun. I don't know about that. Millions of people still go online every day and play MW.
You might be able to get a good deal on Fallout3 or win the auction because its probably the standard game and not the new Game of the year edition that just came out with all the DLCs included. Other great older360 games... Gears of War 1 - you had to have played this one already but if not GET IT. Bioshock - Just an outstanding game, way better than it looks on video when your actually playing it. Call of Juarez - A decent western game Dead Rising - Not an outstanding game but kinda fun, if you can get it for less than 20 then go for it. Gears of War 2 - Real good sequel.
There will be people, especially latecomers and poor people who will keep playing that game. They wont exactly be hip so to speak. lol. I doubt cod4 online will be deserted at least not for another year.

I think you guys all have a point. The number of players in the COD 4 lobbies will most likely be significantly lower for the first few months after MW 2 is released. But (as was mentioned earlier) there's probably a large number of people that, for one reason or another won't end up getting MW 2 right away, and will still be playing the first one.
I believe Bioshock is $30 and Oblivion is $30 from amazon but you can get both on a single DVD from newegg for $36 that's what I did. I got Gears of War 2 for $36. One game I'm waiting to drop by $20 or more or even better wait for plantinum edition with all those expansion packs is Fallout 3. I'll get that Batman game in a year or so when/if it drops to around $30 or so. Is Call of Duty 4 online play good? no cheating? if so that's tempting.

My point was that people are still playing the old game while COD:WaW is out. The MW community isn't going to go away.
I'm not sure if anyone else said it, but I really liked Prey for 360, an it's about $7 at Gamestop. At least, it was in June, so it may have even lowered since then.
why are you paying so much for 360 games? one word "eBay" - got gears 2 brand new $20, COD4 new $17, etc.... just gotta look for good deals =)
