I can't birdie Deja Vu or hole 9 either. I've had the ball inside a box length of the hole on 9, but it just doesn't go. 4 is almost an eagle, but not quite.
Yep, me too. Are you going up the right side on nine? Between the two trees on the right edge of the row of trees on the upper deck, or to the right of them all? I can get sooooo close...
Hi JimJam, I'm glad to see you cannot birdie the 9th hole on Paris Rooftops either. Just posted a 29 with birdies on all holes except the 9th... can you see any opportunities for eagles?
Deja vu is oddly similar to Nice View Up Here in the Desert Canyon, but that hole is a par 5 which makes the birdie possible. I can't see a conventional way to birdie deja vu right now
I feel like the similarity between the two has some significance. For example, Deja Vu is the only hole in Paris Rooftops with a cactus on it.
I didn't notice that until you pointed that out. I'm not sure if that's a hint or not because you can't play the hole the same way you play the one in Desert Canyon.
I did it the same way people are suggesting to go. Flank the right side of the hole. First shot, I try to put it very close to the top right corner of the light green square which meets the very-most corner dark green square on the top right side of the rooftop. Next shot, I hit to the area of 10 light green squares (2x5) to the right of the fountain/pool. I aim again for the top right corner of the second square in the right-side row. The next shot is an "out-of-focus" shot... The trajectory aimer will allow you to hit the ball further if you wait for it to "focus" once, and then hit the ball when it's varying the accuracy for the second time. On the second round of "focusing" the aimer will swing left to right three times, and on the third sway back right, you can hit the ball further. I placed the initial aim in the middle of the two trees on the end, and waited until the aimer swayed back right with a longer trajectory (which would just avoid the right-most tree, and aim right at the hole). Took me probably 20-30 tries to time it up properly. Hope I explained the out of focus shot thing well enough. Kind of hard to put into terms.
This is exactly how I've been playing it. I get very close, but come up just short every time. Frustrating.
After reading about your difficulties with Deja Vu, we rechecked the hole and noticed that the par count for Deja Vu is incorrect and should be reduced by 1, so we'll address that in the next update. If you have got par on that hole currently then you should automatically get the new star when you install the update. Apologies for the mistake and hope you're all enjoying Paris.
low_keith - thanks for the explanation. Exactly what I've been trying, but it doesn't go for me. I am on ios.
OK. That is close! I've been within a box length, but not that close. Looks possible then, but very hard.
Thanks low keith, like others have mentioned I'm trying but just not getting it there. I'll keep trying!
Coming for you Hunter I have been practicing hole 9. Nearly impossible to birdie but I'm getting in 1 out of 10 times or so. I'm aiming to get to 28 before anyone.
