I'd gone over to investigate the lilly even before the tip from okidokico. The reason it took me so long to figure out was the flash was too subtle for me. I thought it was one of those whisps of wind sweeping by the camera at first. One I realised the flash was real, then I think it was gettable.
Theres a difference between the secret holes and a true easter egg. With an easter egg you don't know it's there so you don't get frustrated when you can't find it. This game makes it clear there is a secret hole somewhere and it's frustrating when you can't find it. We are lucky on this forum that the developer is throwing us hints. I think it would be better if the hints were build into the game. So maybe the greyed out hole could show a picture of wind wisps and the text "long-shot", or a picture of a lily and "1-2-3". That might make the game more playable without this forum and fits the puzzle-golf format?
Congrats on finally finding the Fort! It's a fine balance between giving too many hints and having them too well hidden and we're learning what works and doesn't work quickly, mainly thanks to you folks! Our goal with the secret holes is really to get the community working together in the spirit of golf, which seems to be going as planned. Although ideally we'd get to a point where you don't need any hints from me! I want to avoid explicit in game hints and go with visual clues instead, like the lily. I'll make both the lily and the flash much more obvious in the next version to draw people's attention more, and it'll be easier to follow the trail of windows once you've got the first one. If we ever do any more convoluted secrets like that they'll probably fall under that level of difficulty. At most, we might add a hint in the loading screens to look for out of place objects.
I know the first hole and second secret hole in Buchan Bay can be eagled. Anyone been able to eagle any others?
Hole 6 can be done in three (I think - depends on the wind). I haven't got it yet, but I think I know how. Spoiler Hit the rock in the center with your second shot; you'll get the wild "sticky" shot, and can maybe reach the hole?

For the Fort Fore unlock, Spoiler it's possible to go anti-clockwise round the windows/arches. So start by shooting left of the lily window, and go through the it left-to-right. Takes far fewer strokes, not that it matters.

I've got everything in Buchan Bay three starred, and 2 eagles. There must be more that can be eagled, but man these are tough.
Drug my feet and missed the sale, bought it this morning as I am traveling and need something to pass the time when I've got down time. This hit the spot! Great relaxing experience and before I knew it I was three hours in, all regulation holes parred and all secret holes unlocked! Championship mode is like icing on the cake! No regrets in paying $3 rather than $1. In fact I hope it helps in funding more levels. Off to finish my three stars. Thanks!

Leaderboard times Hey everyone! We're going to be doing a clampdown on leaderboard thresholds to remove some of the spoofer scores that a lot of you are upset about I know a lot of you are beyond amazing at this game and I'd like to have a good idea how good you are so I can avoid removing genuine scores from the leaderboards (I've had some emails from people with genuinely suprising and impressive scores!). I've only been doing the bare minimum on the times to get 3 stars, but I've put quite a bit of effort into championship mode. Also the leaderboard doesn't work for me on ios. Why apple dropped the game center baffles me.
