Sale price was nice, but the portrait mode support was what made this an instabuy! Loving it so far the first few holes in!
Not me. Very frustrating. Hit the ball under the 'bushes' or whatever they are but didn't find anything. Not sure what 'expect the unexpected' is hinting at. This is sadistic.
Only hints I'll give are that both secret holes are to be found in the Aberdeen main course. One is in plain sight, but if it wasn't for the wind you'd never be able to reach it, and for the other look for something out of place. We're getting into Easter Egg territory here now so let the hunt begin!
I bought on Friday. I love the graphics and presentation. Not so crazy about the gameplay. As advertised it's pretty limited and simple. On top of that the physics feels a bit flat. I would expect the ball to feel a bit more lively. I really think this game has a lot of promises but I would like to see the gameplay worked on. Offer more types of shots. Basic club selection. Livelier ball physics.
Spoiler There's a Tsukimi-like lilly on hole 3, in a window frame. Can anyone figure out what to do with it?
Found one... Found one secret hole on Buchan Bay but can't find the other. Spoiler Tightrope is way off the course on hole 3.
Same here, can someone please tell where the second one is? Only thing I'm missing to get three stars on all courses ;-)
Spoiler It's a "sticky" spot, but I don't know why. You don't need it to get a two on that hole, nor do you need it to reach the far-offshore hidden hole. So why is it a sticky? Is there another secret hole on three that requires the "wild" shot to reach it?
OK, so we've got the plain sight hole, where you need the wind - that gives the tightrope hole. For the other, I'm convinced the something out of place is that lilly in the window frame on hole 3. The first time you hit the ball through the window frame the screen flashes. At first I thought it was some wind going by, but it's definitely a flash. Can anyone work out what to do next?
If your goal was to confuse me even more, then you really succeeded Spoiler 1-2-3 what?! Hitting the flower three times didn't work. I tried hitting the windows of the tower next to it, nothing happens. There are loads of rock-formations with three rocks, but I can't find a secret hole around them either. I also tried hitting the flower first making the screen flash and then the first secret hole again, also nothing. I've also looked at the post-thingies on the beach, but I can't find anything on them either. Also they're four instead of three. One is placed way off, I thought there might be something there since one hint was "look for something out of the ordinary", but also couldn't get it. I'm really desperate
Ok. I'm being cruel. I guess I wanted others to have the satisfaction. Only click if you want to know. Spoiler In the middle of hole 3 is a Y-shaped set of walls and a tower. First hit the ball through the window frame with the lilly in it. The screen should flash. Next hit it through the upper window on the section closest to the tower. The screen should flash. Next hit it through the big arch. The screen flashes and a cup appears off the course near the tee. Head back towards the tee and sink it. 1-2-3.
