Two Tribes has made this statement --- Price will be $4.99 for the full game, which features roughly 80 levels and will keep you busy for 10+ hours!

What do they mean by full game? will the game also be released in chapters? Either way I'm excited, This game rocks on the wiiware!

I dont know what they meant, it was their statement but I seriously doubt the game will be released in parts, they may be putting out a lite version...who knows. Besides what could be a better statemnt than that. $4.99 for the full game with 10+ hrs of gameplay and 80 levels. Sounds great to me.

We sent out a preview version with only 20 levels. The full game will feature approx 80 levels. That's what we meant ;-) We'll not release it in chapters, you get the full game for that price. And there will be a LITE version at some point in time.

If you need to know anything else, ask away ;-)

    Cheers,

So you mean the submitted version is only a preview (with 20 levels), but it will eventually be updated to a full version will all 80 levels?

i think he meant they gave review sites a preview version with 20 levels. what's available in the app store is the full (or real) version with 80 levels.

he probably meant that they had sent a preview version (with 20 levels) to beta testers and iphone/ipod touch websites for review.

So what happens if the last few levels of the final game are broken but the reviewers give the preview copy a great score cause there was time to polish off a 20 level game than one with 80?

Have you finalised what the controls will be yet? Will there be a choice of control-methods?

    CEO. Reviewer. Beta Tester.
    You need to stalk me?
You put a footnote on the review saying you only played through Level XX out of 80.

I also assume TwoTribes will be sending another full 80 level ad hoc/promocode near release.

We gave them a preview version with only 20 levels yes. One of the reasons why we did that was because preview versions aren't signed or anything. One could simply rip it without cracking and put it online. It would be a shame to lose a game like that before it even got launched ;-) Hope this makes sense?

I can assure you that all 80 levels are tweaked and polished to the max :-D Also, we'll send out review copies of the full game, once it's live. So the reviewers will review the full game.

We'll send out review copies asap once the game goes live. It's in Apple submission right now... so it's a matter of a few weeks now... xing fingers!

    Hi Brett,

The controls have been tweaked to the fullest and I know you are a supporter of multiple control methods, but we're 100% sure that no other control method would work better than the one we use right now.

If possible send over your UDID and I can get you a preview version of the game, just to see what we mean. I'm confident that you'll like what we've done :) The original movie showed on TouchArcade was an example of not final controls, things have changed dramatically in that area. In fact I personally feel it works better than the Wii controls... But don't take my word for it, test it yourself! :-D

    Cheers,

    Martijn

    May I have a review copy? :D

Just kidding (though I'd love one).
A few weeks for the approval process seems like a bit much, especially for a game under 10mb, is this what Apple told you, or is this your assumption?

Just to be on the safe side (resubmission?)... and of course we need promo time as well ;-)

And for review copies you need to contact Chillingo, they now handle that stuff. Just send me a private message and I'll send you the details!

I emailed both Chris and Paul over at Chillingo for a beta a few weeks back. I'll just wait for it to come out and offer to write a review.
