I was thinking that even if it has been approved by Apple, ngmoco won't release it this weekend. If you think about it, the servers will be bombarded with traffic in the 1st few days (just look at TTR3's launch issues) and they will need their engineers on hand to tweak settings and generally sort out server side issues. At the weekend that isn't possible, so i'm guessing it'll be a monday - thursday launch.
a lot of people who buy games are also idiots. things like they complain about no one being online in a bluetooth only multiplayer mode (alive 4 ever). People are not smart. im gonna go look at reviews for a laugh now
lets just hope it is released soon. or at least some more info... i need a hope for a good weekend...
Chill out guys. I think it's hilarious how you guys are getting worked up about all of this. Are we beginning to see the very first iDevice gaming company fanboys? Haha. I think I would be cracking myself up if I were an employee of OpenFeint or ngmoco while reading this. It's all way too funny. 1) People have their own opinions no matter what you say. It's not like your gonna convince someone to something their firmly embedded in over the Internet. Like they'll take you seriously or you'll even cause a doubt in their mind. 2) No one knows how well this game is going to perform or what will happen as a result. Quit trying to predict the future and let the dice roll as they may. 3) You all make good points but the reason you guys aren't making good progress is because you guys continually trash each other and don't structure your argument correctly. 4) Yes, free games usually do end up with horrible reviews because people automatically assume that their free so their bad but I doubt this one will do as bad because it's an ngmoco FPS for crying out loud. 5) Lets just keep waiting until Eliminate is released and not get worked up. You can gloat and get in each others faces if your prediction proves to be true instead of having educated guesses that none of which might come true. Now if only Apple would hurry up.
wait just a minute. i had a word play ah-ha moment. way back when Allen said Eliminate was going to be free TO PLAY!!!! he didnt say anything about the upgrading. im thinking that all the upgrades are going to be DLC...
i did. that article was using past info. until i get Allen telling me im wrong im not going to stop believing this...
facepalm here is a quote from a post that quoted him Originally Posted by Allen at ngmoco View Post The game is going to work exactly the same way as before. Play to get credits, use credits to buy things. Everything you know til this point remains the same
