Yeah, that's all there's left to do... The whole approval process is ridiculous imho... How about approve Companies... Then let them submit a beta app, where the content will stay about the same as in the final. Once the app ( the idea and beta ) is approved give the maker a green light to publish the game on their own release date. Since most Apps run in sandbox there isn't much they can do to harm to.

You should go get a doc seriously dude! Fact is Plus+ is pretty large already... and it will be huge SINCE THEY WILL FORCE people to sign up with them!!!! FACT!!!! That's what they have done in all their free apps. What other App forces gamers to sign up with their gaming network? For the iPhone it will probably be very big! They have already had Ads up on some sites months before this game got submitted to Apple. Believe it or not, it will receive SOME MASSIVE advertising.... Get informed before posting idiot!

How do you know that? There more than 50 developers already integrating it into their apps and some more following... Neil said that! OpenFeint is pretty huge also, but I don't think it will as much exposure as Plus+ with all the ngmoco, freeverse games and now Eliminate and TouchPets... Who gives a damn? Basically YOU! That's the reason you pay nothing for this game! The want to increase their network and their marketing platform! That's the real reason for them to offer it for free!!!!! Nobody can really tell, unless you have some stats to back that up! They were the first and have Minigore in their list. Most other games are just unknown to the masses... Most ngmoco apps are in the Top 100 for months. Nobody can tell... It's not really important who's bigger since what matters most is to have an easy way to promote apps without spending $$$... That's what the economic reason for the existence of a network is besides getting people engaged.
Open Feint is the largest network, saying Plus is bigger is ridiculous. Increasing Plus' user base probably was a factor in making it free, however, I seriously doubt that was the motive behind the move. Providing a sustainable business model for a premium online games was the 'real reason' they made Eliminate free. I still don't give a damn, I think there's room for more than one network. No shit, Sherlock. Also, Minigore isn't that big outside of TA... It only hit #9 for like three weeks. That's not enough to make it bigger than Plus+. On top of that, the Top 100 games list is full of games with OF, they just don't say 'Open Feint' inthe icon like Plus+ does (I think it's stupid). Thirdly, Social Networks include Facebook and MySpace, so you saying it'll be th largest social network is incorrect. The biggest on the iPod? Maybe, but it has a LOT of ground to catch up an I don't think it will catch up only with Eliminate. Lastly, Eliminate will get terrible reviews 'cause that's what happens to all free games, no matter how good they are.
Now please back that up! Any stats? Common... Only because of their statement on their website! That can change just about any minute! They had this up even before Plus+ came out! I also think there should be room for more than one network, so I agree on that point. Nobody knows what their real motive is, but it's a fact they want it to grow, that's why there are investing their time into integrating it in every single game they've put out... OpenFeint was the first network of that kind and that's why many developers got that integrated. I expect ELIMINATE to sell like hot cakes at the price of FREE... and everybody will be forced to sign up for the Plus+ network. Minigore doesn't bother to force you to do that! That's because it's not their interest to generate customers for the OpenFeint network. While ngmoco WILL force free users to sign up with them. Anybody saying that this will not increase their member stats is plain silly. I have 3 friends playing Minigore and other OpenFeint games and never bothered to sign up with OpenFeint, while they had to do that with Plus+. Say 2-3 million users download Eliminate, those are 2-3 million new Plus+ members. Their friends get invited into a match -> New Plus+ members. It's a 1:1 relationship, It's not the same with OpenFeint!
Again most people don't bother signing up with OpenFeint! They are not forced to do that! A lot of friends never actually used OpenFeint even though they have their games. I never said it is going to be larger than Facebook/Myspace/Twitter (Facebook has more users than there are iDevices out there!).. when I'm talking about social gaming networks I'm not counting them in... I'm comparing those stat game networks, not social networks. Even if you don't like the Plus+ network logo...it delivers what it's supposed to. Please get to ask why does my logo have that? What can I do with that? It get's people to engage more with the games they have purchased since for most games it extends the gameplay from getting a high score to unlocking achievements. Look at kmacleod... he is playing Plus+ like crazy. For people familiar with Plus+ network it's also a good way to identify games that they can earn points with... so it's not that bad and it only takes up like 10% of the logo... It's a great marketing feature... Nobody can say if Plus+ or TouchPet will make Plus+ explode... but I'm sure it will increase their membership base with some significant extent! Anybody saying Eliminate or TouchPets won't help is not recognizing the effort ngmoco has put into it... They are developing those games for almost 9 months so a lot of their resources went into it. They have goals and will try their best achieving those. Who else can afford to run Ad campaigns for a game that is not even out yet two months ago just to get people excited! Most small companies don't even have a budget to run real sale campaigns nowadays.
