Twitter status said more info coming soon so maybe it's still a matter of weeks since they are still deciminating information!

 

It was submitted a week ago, I really doubt that they'll hold it for weeks once it's approved.

 

Apple doesn't get the money, I think it's the devs. Apple may get a share tho. U have got ur facts all wrong dude. This is no lame game, and th DlC are by no means required for the game to be stellar. So while we can hav our own opinons they should at least bear
some traces of the truth. While ur buying ur games we'll be playing online..... For free

 

it could take a month for a game to get approved

 

1) you don't actually have to buy the dlc to advance, you'll just get more credits in a shorter amount of time.

2) 3d version of the text based mmo's? this game actually has some gameplay involved. most of the people here are getting it because it looks like a quality online fps on an idevice.


3) most of the people here were expecting the game to be $5+, but ngmoco (Allen, to be exact) just announced today that it will be free.

4) what makes you think it's going to suck? it looks like a quality online fps with rpg elements on an idevice. what's so bad about that?

 

How can you say this isn't a lame game if you haven't even played it yet? It's free and didn't the old saying on the AppStore go: 'All free apps that are not on sale generally fail'?

And the rest of your points are also fail, but I'm on am iPod so I won't go into that much detail...

 

Agree. Partially, but I still agree.

 

It's a free QUALITY FPS that you haven't even played yet so you wouldn't know? I personally think (And yes, you all can quote me here), that after about three months MAXIMUM, Eliminate will probably not be free anymore, DLC will be mandatory in order to progress, we will have to pay a subscription fee or it will lag horribly. One of those scenerios.

I think this game is now destined to FAIL.

EDIT: Sorry guys, I gave you bad info. Rolando 2 was just updated to 4.99. So, it's only cheaper buy a couple cents to buy everything individually.

Excellent marketing! Make them save money and get used to In-App Purchases, then use that dollar they saved for Eliminate stuff!

Hey Allen, since we're all friends here can you just email everyone who is still online a copy of eliminate? It's going to be free anyway, why make us wait when we could build up the prerelease hype by saying awesome things about your game? I think it would be an EXCELENT way to market your game
