Does anyone have info about battery life and Eliminate? Should I be next to a charger if I want to play for 30 minutes? It seems like current online, 3D games like Cocoto Kart Online can really take a lot of battery.
More like in a couple of weeks. They might only announce the price when it's approved and they've settled on a release date.
During the community day, when asked about battery life, Chris Plummer said that it would "definitely take your system to it's limits." Neil Young reiterated that "Its using everything that the device has to offer". Doesn't sound promising, but it apparently lasts longer on the 3GS than on the original devices.
You guys think they'll hold it for a while after Apple approves it so they can market it more and have a concrete date for its release?
The game looks great,but why only 4 players?Well i suppose this is good enough.And these energy packs will give the edge to the guys with more money.More playing,means more upgrades.
It's a matter of balance and consistency. They made the game in such a way that 4 person free for all matches are the games that were the most heavily tested and balanced, and they don't want to fragment the player base into different games, because then it would take longer to join a match.
If the levels are balanced, then the number of people does not matter. Less people + smaller levels = Just as much excitement as a a 10 vs 10 deathmatch. Besides, I dont think all of the idevces could handle all of the movement and effects (of a 10 vs 10 match) on the screen at once. The older devices would probably not be able to play Eliminate.
This is off topic. I just wanted to say this: Haha! I beat your score in Dr. Awesome! .. Lol.. I feel so proud.. I got 56 patients, and my high score is better. I am in the charts now! Lol. I'm sorry, i just wanted to say that Anyways, Apple hurry up, get off your lazy asses, and hit that approve button!
