Go to the plus+ window in any app and search for "appletest". Edit: Just read your sig, sorry man. Anyways we saw some plus+ users called AppleTest01 and 02 and both of them have touchpets in their list. Just recently now they have more touchpet apps in the list, 10 food, 20, and 600. It seems to be that touchpets is currently being tested. I'm keeping an eye on those accounts to see if they're going to test eliminate soon on it.
So there's only AppleTest01 and AppleTest02? They are both testing Touch Pet but neither of them has Eliminate in their list. They might also not be the in charge of approving Eliminate. Couldn't find AppleTest03 and 04 and now it seems even AppleTest01 / 02 accounts were made invisible by ngmoco to proctect them maybe?!?!
You have to type just appletest to see them without any spaces. And you don't know if they are going to use the same account.
I found them by searching for them by just typing appletest with no spaces. You can also check their awards that they got for the apps. It seems that they got some. A good sign perhaps..?
Just to get specifically on-topic about Eliminate, do you know if Ngmoco can support their servers? Originally they were planning for a certain amount of users but now that the game will be free there's going to be many times more players. Basically, this game is going to be on like every iPod and iPhone just like Tap Tap Revenge 2 and some other good free games. I'm just saying there's no way Ngmoco has set up more servers to compensate for that. I don't know though, I guess we'll just have to wait and see (sorry if this was already talked about).
Yeah as much as ngmoco wants us to get our hands on the game, I'm sure they are loving this extra time to make sure that their servers are up to par. This is also why they are releasing it in Canada first to make sure the onslaught of players dont hammer the servers out and cause them to crash. But I'm sure ngmoco is prepared to give us a great online experience with multiple servers all over the world.
Ngmoco has proved themselves trustworthy, reliable, and smart. They wouldn't have made it free if they couldn't do it. Although it's a gamble to see if the buying energy idea works. Hopefully it doesn't fail.
Yeah, lets hope so. Really, making sure the servers work is the key to this game being huge. If it stinks this will end up like FAST where everyone complains about the ridiculous server problems and doesn't get to play a full game very often. If it works pretty well this will be like the iPhone version of Halo 3.
They have been working on it for quite some time. I wouldn't worry about the server lag more than the server upkeep. I hope they strike a gold mine out of this.
Just Approve the G-D Damn App. Haven't posted here in forever...If Apple thinks I'll forget about all this crap we had to put up with when the game finally comes out, I won't. I mean this is ridiculous. There is absoltely no logic whatsoever to Apple's stupid a** ways of getting things done. This Really Needs to Be Said: For Pete's Sake...Just Approve the G-D Damn App.
does this appletest stuff mean they havent even STARTED testing yet?!? wtf happened to the whole 14 days average thing? it cant be taking this long cos of online play n heaps of features if they havent actually started testing!
