Is ngmoco doing an app store add is that what people were talking about earlier or did they say something about the in-game advertisments?
as your running down corridors killing people you will see advertisement's from Burger King, Jack in the Box, and other NGMOCO games?
The only things that it proves is that he spends a lot of his time on the boards and he's freaking talkitive.
That is an understatement! He post the most every day more than any other member, I wonder how many of those are just spam! On topic, I think it will be good move to have in game ads in this game, it will also account for server cost in case people don't purchase the packs!
Although I don't mind ads (as long as it's not one of those that make you wait.. god..) people would be disappointed. If ads is the only option to keep the servers up then oh well but they should wait and see if the buying energy idea is successful.
There will be an ad on the main menu, this has already been confirmed. I don't mind too much since this game is free.
Oh well that's not bad. How much do you think they will get per click? I plan on supporting ngmoco by clicking on it whenever I'm bored and/or just wasting time till more energy comes.
I actually enjoy in game ads! It adds realism to the game as long as it is done well like the axe bill board in splintercell
Stuff like that can be cool, but I'm not a fan of the type of menu-ads that Ngmoco uses. I'd rather just pay for a version without them; I don't mind spending money to remove irritants.
The education system is reall in a decline, that bothers me! Ovaltine is not as effective like it used to!
In a way it does add realism but I wouldn't say I enjoy them. I would probably pay for a ad-free version as well if there will ever be one.
If it will help ngmoco raise money to account for server cost I'm all for ads! I'll buy any product that I see in game!
