So you think people should be able to pay for physical, in game stat enhancers but not for the ability to increase their credits by more play time. That makes no sense. How does your system differ in a matter of not rewarding people "with more money to spare"?
People should have unlimited time to earn credits. Thats how it is in other games. In cod, halo, battlefield or any other online fps there are always map packs. I dont know where you got stat enhancers from because any suit can be upgraded to be as good as any other. Maps will probably come out as dlc anywys which makes the batteries just a hinderance. Unless you want pay $1 everyday so you can upgrade your stuff at the rate you're actually playing. Which can add up to a lot of money
Darn it.... I want it now lol been waiting for such a game for long time. and I really like it's website.
There is a new ngmoshow online ( audio only ). It's the meeting from the Community day with all those HALO cracks. Hopefully, it helps in the process of waiting
In all those games you mentioned, you need to have/purchase xbox live. Without xbox live, you can't rank up. In halo, you can play social matches without xbox live Gold but can you level up? Answer: No. What happens to all the other ppl in the world who have xbox live while you don't? They rank up faster. That is how things work. If you are really hardcore and want to be #1 in the world at something, then you gotta pay for it.
To an extent yes. But that's $50 a year. Not $30 a month if you want to rank up a little more each day. Maybe even if it was like you start out with a standard rate (90 minutes of credit earning) and you could pay to upgrade and stay upgraded. Like $1 for 120 minutes and 3$ for 240 minutes. And once you pay you stay at that upgraded status. That would at least be a little better
You don't know how many credits $.99 will get you, do you? So maybe $.99 worth of credits will be worth more than a day of playing...
Guys before getting too worked up over the energy system think of it this way- With a full recharge you can play for around 15 minutes, maybe more if you are joining games in progress because the build I played said something along the bottom of the screen about not deducting energy because you are joining a game in progress. Energy is recharged every 90 minutes. Think of the style of gaming that the iPhone and iPod are best suited for. When I'm playing an iPhone game (and it isn't something I'm powering through to review) I'm generally only playing for a few minutes at a time here or there. Around 15 minutes is about the maximum I'd ever be playing on my phone in one sitting. If I get another 15 minute chunk of time in an hour or so to play the game again, I'm all recharged and ready to go. I really think the kind of people who are going to have these all day long Eliminate marathons are really in the minority.
I don't think you get a FULL recharge every 90 minutes... Isn't it just a small fraction that over the course of 24 hours will eventually build up to a full charge?
Well that is a little better. But I still feel it should be a little more. Because I usually sit for about 30 minutes in my room when I'm done with homework to make it seem like I was studying extra to my mom but does that mean that if I played for ten minutes and there was 5 minutes left would it start the recharge process or would I have to run all the time out?
In the game there is a little countdown timer that tells you when the next recharge is, it's constantly counting down if you've used any of your energy. When 90 minutes rolls around (or however much longer is left on your timer) it goes back up to full.
