The team was focused on trying to get the game finished. It could possibly end up in an update, but it's not something the team is currently working on. --MJ
Ahh, that makes sense, thanks. It was definitely more important to finish the game and get it submitted than it would have been to delay it any further and add custom music. I'll throw my vote in that it would be nice to see it in a future update. I could see myself playing this for 30 minute play sessions at a time or more, and music would definitely enhance the experience.
As we've mentioned elsewhere, we're considering everything from new maps, weapons, and armor to new gameplay modes. It all depends on how you guys end up playing the game. --MJ
I suggest new gameplay modes. Or maps. If you start adding new weapons and armor for cash, it becomes the game of whoever has the most money wins the game because they have ridiculously strong armor.
Well you could still play while listening to music, you just have to start it before the game that's all.
Not necessarily. If you check out the armor now, the way it works is that each suit comes with a trade-off. Everything is supposed to be really well balanced, so that no armor actually gives you a combat advantage.
Well you know weapons cost credits that you earn in game so it could be that kind of weapons. And with the matchmaking system it's not about money but skills and levels.
That is true, but it is kind of a pain. If I'm playing a half-hour play session with my iPod on shuffle, chances are pretty good I'm going to want to skip a couple of the songs that pop up. And skipping music is inconvenient without playlist access. Again, not that big of a deal, but it would be nice to see
well you can make an on-the-go playlist before, have it play, and tada! your favorite music playing. or you can double tap the home button after match to skip songs...
Well, what more possibilities are there. People would only buy the armor if there's some special advantage to it. Weapons, maybe, unless they're overpowered. (MJ look at the following part! ) If there was some special pulse gun that was weak but sent out a pulse to a wide range, that would be cool. Or a gun that freezes (not literally) other players, so they can't move, and can only shoot in place. (for a bit at least) That way, you can use it to (possibly) disarm opponents, then shoot them. That would also open up a space for armor that thaws out faster, or creates higher immunity to bullets/beams while frozen. There could also be mines of course, or futuristic grenades you can throw. There could be smoke grenades, and of course, a certain suit would change the vision a bit so you can see through it better, or a weapon targets through the smoke. Or a sniper gun, which could cloak the player using it, but also make them much more prone to stray bullets.
I agree. Team Deathmatch too, other fun modes from CoD. How about a non-weapon melee mode. You could also have jet boots for that mode.
Exactly; that is inconvenient. I can't even count the number of times that I've accidentally quit the current app by accidentally tapping the home button once or three times. Again, it isn't a particularly big deal, adding playlist support. All I'm saying is that it would be an appreciated feature
