I like how this thread has more posts and replies than the whole upcoming games discussion section that this thread is in.
Eliminate... Striving for Excellence How do you know this? I would imagine that ngmoco has done the really grueling tests to see if the hardware can support constant play during a day. They want everything to work just as much as Apple does. I believe that we will get one fantastic product because of their joint striving for excellence.
bomber is one of the devs behind Cocoto Kart, an online racing game. He probably knows what he's talking about. My question to you is, how do you know that what he said isn't true?
I don't know that the information is not correct. I just like knowing the source of such great information.

I mean so many people on one thread for one game I have never seen people so excited about one game. I think it is great for ngmoco and to bad people do not seem too be that excited about Touchpets and others. This is alot of people to me. Staying on talking about the game they want and staying here waiting on the game.
If you don't understand the excitement than it's because you're not a real fps fan. Eliminate is a "Gamer's" game; online fps's are competitive games with long lasting replayability, and this will be Iphone's first. I've haven't given Touchpets a second of thought... it sounds so gay, get a real pet.
For Cocoto Kart we have seen that Apple has tested it over 3G network - two people from England (O2) were connecting over 3G and playing the online mode for a few minutes.
I can' t have a real pet and why should you be so nasty. I am not competitive in my games. I think that guys can be babies when they do not win at a game. I just like too play if I win good if not I do not care your right about that. I do think this is a great game. But than again I am not into killing people or animals.
What an intelligent, thought provoking comment. Because obviously the only reason people play video games is because they are gay and because they don't understand that they could own a pet. You must be some kind of brilliant philosopher to figure that one out That is the nice thing about online games - you always know exactly how far along Apple is in the testing process I'm sure Ngmoco is keeping careful track of exactly which new accounts are signing in to Eliminate as well. They may very well have played a match or two with the guys in charge of the approval process!

You all need to calm down. I never called anyone gay I was just sharing my opinion, an opinion that I feel connects to more competitive people. I shouldve known I would be offending lots of virtual pet fans. And yeah I look shooting things; joining the military isn't comparable to touching a pet.
