Anyways, where's the new video? Apple should have released it by now, I think Nhmoco is still testing the servers at Canada, no wait they already did that... I'm guessing it will take until next week, but most of my predictions were wrong for Eliminate and Touchpets: Dogs

 

They said the new video would be ready in the first half of tomorrow.

just face the sad reality eliminate is not coming. the apple approval team cant stop testing it.

 

I wonder if they're working on an Eliminate character creator, like Rolando 2.

 

I doubt it, we've got the fan kit which is pretty much Eiminate's equivalent.

quick question... how long has it been with apple now?

 

Almost three weeks now. I believe the problem with ELIMINATE taking so long is that it is tested on many devices at the same time... They will test it on a 2G and 3GS at least...Maybe even on iTouches.

But the main reason I believe it's taking so long is that Apple is concerned with Millions of people playing it. Now that's good though. But then millions are going to play it for a longer period of time without breaks and with new OpenCL 2.0 features that haven't been implemented before and always on connection over 3G they will need to make sure it doesn't OVERHEAT!

Chris already said it drains battery like crazy. So that means it gets pretty warm too. I'm sure they are scared of devices failing and being return to them... They need to do some extreme tests over a longer period of time...

They are very careful here because they now this game will be installed on way too many devices.

Apple is usually not testing the games that much, between 2 and 20 minutes. If the approval is delayed then it's more a problem of keywords, in-app purchases requiring additional testing, rating (might need to be 12+ or more), bandwidth usage on 3G network etc.
