Although I said to people to stop assuming, I'm going to use a logical assumption instead of a "IT GONA BE OUT 2DAY". When gamevil's baseball super star app (lite) came out sometime last week, I asked them on twitter when they submitted it. They said it was sometime 3 weeks ago. At that time it was around 2 weeks since eliminate was submitted. So possibly eliminate could come out this week, but still, the app is more complex to approve so maybe not. Still my guess will be sometime this week. If not this week then I'm done guessing because by then I can really say it has been long enough.
If it comes out on Halloween, I'll be shooting everybody up on Eliminate like "Trick or Treat this Motherfo!" Hahaha
Prediction #3884. Filed. Thank you Nobody knows...the game will take a longer time due to the mentioned reasons of it being to complex and so on... I think the true reason behind it taking so long and I'm actually not expecting it to be out during the next 1-2 weeks because of that... Apple wants this game to be REALLLLY great. It wants it to be as flawless of an experience as possible. One can think of this as the following... Imagine an app like the compass on the iPhone 3GS... it's gonna be out on every single device that is being shipped. There's is ABSOLUTELY no tolerance from them for apps they ship themselves. They usually don't crash and and are very well tested. NGMOCO has been invited so often and ngmoco is the only large company producing iPhone apps exclusively. They exist because of the iPhone and the App Store. Games made by them are installed on MANY devices. If they are buggy this will undoubtedly rub off on Apple. Apple knows that this game is highly anticipated and may put in-app purchases to the REAL test. ELIMINATE will be installed on millions of devices now that's it free. Most people will give it a try at least. So The worst thing that could happen at launch is disappointment and uninstalls coming from people that experience bugs or aren't able to play it. So I would assume it can take a while.
Their website says it will be out in october - so the maximum before it comes out is 6 days! That's not a while!
There's nothing wrong with being positive as long as you're not disappointed if it takes longer I'm positive too but I'm telling myself now it took 3 weeks of daily waiting now and another week or two won't kills us. This game is going to be awesome when it's out, that what I'm looking forward to see and expect.
Nice to know apple really is tied to ngmoco. I'm not sure it's take 3 days to go from canada to globally. They're only going to check the servers so that it won't malfunction once it goes global, which would be disappointing. Sure it could take longer but it doesn't sound like testing the servers would take that long, unless they actually do experience problems.
plus they said V.soon. I assume that means very soon. Very soon means hours (I hope) or one to two days (hours is still better).
